In 2017 I joined a room of 6 other students interested in starting a union. From 2018-2019 I was co-president of @EmoryUnite. It was a small union of 7 or 8 ppl but we slowly grew. I doubt anyone in the room today knows me but today Emory voted to unionize and I’m crying. ✊✊✊

Happy Halloween from the GLU! We had such a great time yesterday at the @vtgradcommunity pumpkin carving event 🎃 we told people about the union and invited everyone to our card making party this Friday!

Hate paying fees? We invite all VT students to come write cards to the people who want to raise our fees next year, like the Board of Visitors and VT's finance executives. Friday, November 3 from 4-7 pm in the Newman library coffee shop. Supplies, info & snacks provided!
