@albertachick68 It totally depends on what the authorities are bogged down with and what they have time for. We found out she was schizophrenic and she let the cat out by the way. Nothing we could do legally our hands were tied and it was heartbreaking to watch. No one could help.

@albertachick68 This isn’t true. I work in animal rescue and one of my adopters had a complete psychotic break online, I saw on FB where she was posting vids threatening to kill her family and others…and I still couldn’t get the police involved in the southern US.
