@vandiiloptcg @BenSchumi7 Anti-removal techs are universal and help against any color so their inclusion can always be justified, cards that specifically answer numerous war crimes committed by yellow won't matter because those cards won't be as universally useful.

Designing anti-aggro-weenie cards is easy, and we've seen it done in the past to address Law / Zoro (OP05-OP-06) and we even have those cards now. There is no tech card or card design that can address healing or the variance of triggers other than power creeping

@vtgare @BlueAng82837092 Maxx C versatility is the best part of the awful design of the card. If you consider maxx C as a game mechanic it’s not completely unfair if everyone suffers equally.

@Jackpino_ @BlueAng82837092 I see what you're getting at, but I think the randomness of charmies isn't that bad, fuwa is at worst an upstart vs most meta decks and matchup specific ones can be sided. Maxx C's versatility is what makes it so toxic in the first place cuz there are fewer ways to play around it

@vtgare @BlueAng82837092 It’s a maindeckable card that is bad 45% of the time you draw it. And despite that it’s still a must play. They have the exact same issues as maxx C (besides the going first problem but maxx C going first isn’t too different to a solemn) and add more randomness to the game

@sormiltcg Yeah it's brought up regularly. I also think YGO's double loss system is a nice solution, it wasn't received well at first but people are generally pretty positive about it now

@jerrysgotpops @vandiiloptcg I was about to say the same thing. This has bothered me for ages in western OPTCG streams versus the Japanese ones. I want to actually see what's in their hand and what plays are available to them

@vandiiloptcg On the Japanese streams they have that little hand holder thing and a camera on both players hands - not sure if US players would be willing to do it (we seem to love constant hand shuffling) but I really like being able to see both players hands!

Not the biggest fan of UPA as our heroes myself, but I think you can agree that every nation needs its heroes and unfortunately AK/UPA is what we got, making a big deal out of it is counterproductive for both sides

You can’t solve this by saying “from our perspective it looks the same.” Perspectives matter, but facts still matter. AK crimes against Ukrainians happened and should be condemned, but they were not the AK’s political project. In Volhynia and Eastern Galicia, UPA’s violence against Polish civilians became organized ethnic cleansing. That is why copy-pasting the argument and switching names does not work.

Killing Polish civilians is wrong. Killing Ukrainian civilians is wrong. AK is an important part of Polish history and their national struggle for independence. UPA is an important part of Ukrainian history and our struggle for independence. Ukrainians have a different view of history than Poles. Ukrainians accept that Poles honour AK for their fight against the Nazis and the Soviets. (Not for killing Ukrainian civilians) Poles should accept that Ukrainians want to honour UPA for their fight against the Nazis and Soviets. (Not for killing Polish civilians) Both Poland and Ukraine should investigate and reconcile the history together as this period of history is riddled with 80 years of propaganda and misinformation. That simple ladies and gentlemen. Act like adults.
