Exactly right. Not all brokerages are the same. If you want to be a serious trader, you have to operate on a serious trading platform.

@HermesLux So I have multiple brokerage platforms. And this buy-write thing is incredible. I have much less stress about early assignment and doing Delta 10s below my cost basis. Robinhood is a failboat for this. But Fidelity and Schwab and WeBull.... Different story.

Strategy loses $38 per share— $MSTR flat. This is positive.

Bitcoin is really bucking the broad market trend down today. Even Gold is down.

@vtomecek If you're worried about the impacts of quantum computing on bitcoin, you must be extremely scared about what it's going to do to the traditional financial system.

A lot of people prefer to criticize Bitcoin rather than learn about it. Same for Bitcoin Treasury Companies.

I'd be really interested in getting social sentiment data from @X users, particularly regarding individual stocks and the overall economy. This would be a valuable tool to have imo @nikitabier

If the UAE were smart, they would sell oil in bitcoin or gold instead of USD or Yuan. But they’re not smart so they have to play both sides and sell oil in a currency they still can’t print.

I have gotten at least 50 comments saying the $CAR short around 575’s I would have blown my account when it hit $847’s. Let me be clear: 1) You don’t ever short anything with size. I said that explicitly when I mentioned CAR. Subway sandwich amounts only. So 2-5% of your total account size so you ride the position even if it goes against you initially. Gives you a lot of buffer in case. 2) I even posted twice that CAR at the peak was worth more than almost the entire US rental car industry combined, just about. 3) I even mentioned that CAR was the biggest component of the Dow Transport at one point. Absurd. 4) Too many ppl think when I make a short call the position has to move in your direction right away. Jeez the instant gratification crowd in full force. 5) Too many ppl have the mentality it’s a full port or nothing position. It doesn’t make any sense to say CAR from $575 to $847 would blow my account if I allocated up to 5% of my portfolio to it. 6) The short eventually worked out very well in two days from $575 to $875 back down to $200. But instead of seeing it as a successful trade they just want to assume I got blown out lol. Oh Fintwit… Sometimes I can say the sky is blue, and you will still say no. Oh wells.
