@FlyQuestRivals What did I just read….this isn’t the proper response at all. It doesn’t achieve a single thing aside from showing us that this wasn’t taken seriously. I can guarantee you a replacement can be found, so get up and do the right thing. A slap on the wrist doesn’t count.

Over the last few days, we’ve been made aware that the behavior of one of our Marvel Rivals players has crossed the line and made hurtful comments to women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Firstly, we want to apologize to Ashlynn, Aramori and everyone who has been hurt by these comments. At FlyQuest, we want to be an organization that always works to lift up others. We have consistently taken all matters surrounding gender identity, expression and inclusion very seriously through not only our RED program, but also all other verticals in our organization. In our staff and talent onboarding, we make this very clear for everyone who joins FlyQuest. This player has made mistakes, and though his age and recent exposure to the scene may be a factor at play, they are also not an excuse for words and actions that hurt others, especially within the communities that are frequently targeted and harassed within our industry. When a situation like this occurs, where clear mistakes were made, but we genuinely feel that the player wants to learn and improve, we want to commit to helping them grow and be a part of the FlyQuest mission. This player has committed to training and educating themselves with support from FlyQuest to not only do better, but also give them this opportunity to grow. We also make it clear that FLY players have very limited chances to show their character before they are no longer a part of our program. Though it does not absolve any of the wrongs done here, we're working with internal staff who are a part of the affected communities to identify other ways we can show our support for those affected by our player's actions. We will be contributing a donation on the behalf of the player to the Trevor Project and RAINN. This is not a one-donation-fixes-all mentality, but we believe it is the right place to start. We also hope that this can not only be a learning moment for the player, but also for FlyQuest and everyone who is a part of the gaming community.
