@IroncladDev Likely someone that uses “cis” as if it’s a real thing got involved. That, or it was that one guy that has never even used the thing in question, but was paid mid 6 figures as a consultant to boost exposure. Could be both I suppose 🤷‍♂️

@vulbyte @ShadJay2 @suchnerve dynamically linked binaries expire as the os removes old libraries and replaces them with incompatible versions sure, you can bundle everything, but to be sure nothing breaks you'd need an entire distro container

@jaroslawjarosik @ShadJay2 @suchnerve web apps don't need to be re-compiled because they're a JIT they relys on an engine like v8, so if you have a browser it's fine, for everything else, a properly packaged binary will never "expire", they only will if they rely on external things and you don't have it installed

@jaroslawjarosik @ShadJay2 @suchnerve i have no idea what you're talking about. the majority of apps people use day to day are just webpages with a browser wrapper. discord? electron spotify? electron stream? chrome reskin if you're using a distro made for general users you don't have to compile anything ever.

I am surprised that iToddlers are coming out in droves the last 6 months realizing how shitty Apple products are. They were never good btw. Well, maybe iphones 3 through 5 were pretty good tbh. Don't get me wrong, Windows11 is unplayable too.
