Thanks everyone for the amazing year. Despite how things ended with a huge part of my life being gone in @theScoreesports, I was still able to do so much in this year and grow as a person. It was a tumultuous one but I had amazing people around me. Kicking off the year I had some traumatic stuff happen in my personal life which made me dive head into work. It was hard to break out of it but my partner was there every step of the way and casting proved to be therapeutic in this regard. With CRL I got to cast more and really hone my talent and get better with our incredible crew. Every semester we get tighter and better and it makes me fall in love with Rocket League every single time. I also got to cover League of Legends for the first time. Flying to MSI for my first work trip where I could interview players, do social content, and helped do things on the ground, thanks to the Riot team for being so gracious to us and @SeanWetselaar for showing me the ropes, love this scene. From a work perspective I got to make my own show with some of my best friends and yap about games, esports, and faker every other week. I casted a LAN for @TFCGaming to try and help Rocket League grow in Canada (thanks for your support). I got closer with the CoD community and really enjoyed our championship that we had in Kitchener thanks to @MovistarKOI. Thanks @NeilDuffy for the invite and letting me see your work first hand, was an incredible event. And finally I got to go to the Rocket League World Championship in Lyon, seeing NA win for the first time in too long. Thanks @RLEsports for throwing an incredible event and allowing me to watch it in person, you guys are the GOAT. Literally one of the best trips of my life. There are a bunch of people I want to thank so bear with me. First my best friends in this space. @BassFromThePast @TheDangerTaco @Vodible. You guys are my anchor and rock in this space and keep me going, and I'm happy to see all of you grow every year and I don't know what I'd do without you. @DPascaluta for keeping me sane throughout the year and helping me grow professionally and personally, happy to see you grow and pursue a new position and I have no doubt you'll enjoy it and excel. @MateoEsports for continuing to believe in CRL as a scene and believing in us. @Paul_ShepherdRL @RotationAnt for being goated at your role and seeing yall grow has been amazing. @vvmush for keeping me sane at events with social battery stuff and for helping try new things. @JustStayinAlive and @XoticGFX for continuously producing some of the best shows in esports. @GibbitBago idk i love you bro. @Liefx @Lethamyr_RL and @CMooreCasts for being some of my closest esports peeps in Toronto. Bonsoir à tous, Je vous écris ces lignes pour vous faire part d'une annonce qui me tient à cœur, compte tenu de mon attachement au jeu, à la scène Rocket League et à vous. Après 10 années de compétition, dont 7 en tant que professionnel, RL m'aura tout donné. De mes débuts en tant que jeune joueur insouciant, qui n'aspirait qu'à performer et comprendre ce que pouvaient ressentir les meilleurs joueurs du monde, à un honnête parcours en tant que joueur pro durant de multiples années au plus haut niveau, jusqu'à un titre de champion du monde en tant que coach chez BDS. Cette expérience s’est achevée sur un échec avec notre roster chez Vitality, très récemment, aux Worlds à Lyon. L'adversité, la déception et l'euphorie auront parsemé mon parcours. J'en profite au passage pour revenir sur ma carrière dans sa globalité, car je n'avais pas eu le courage de m'exprimer lors de ma transition de joueur à coach. Au début de cette carrière, et spécifiquement lors de ma première LAN pro et victoire (Gfinity), j’éprouvais la sensation que gagner était normal et que, si j’étais la meilleure version de moi-même, cela continuerait naturellement. La réalité fut très différente pour moi et pour la majorité des joueurs, à l’inverse de quelques ovnis de la scène, que l’on peut compter sur les doigts d’une main, et que j’enviais tant. J'ai connu les débuts de la professionnalisation de la scène, à une époque où le staff n’existait que pour l’équipe favorite, et où les joueurs étaient trop souvent embarqués avec des structures peu soucieuses, voire malhonnêtes. Mes séjours chez @TeamBDS et @TeamVitality, bien que courts, auront complètement modifié cette vision. J’y ai enfin bénéficié d’un vrai cadre, avec des personnes passionnées, des moyens, et un réel sentiment d’appartenance. @Vitality_Neo, @Don_Alejandrooo, @Alx_Araujo et @D1nep m'ont pris sous leur aile et ont été de véritables mentors, me guidant et me soutenant pour devenir une meilleure personne et un meilleur coach, et je vous remercie énormément. Je me force à prendre cette décision, car je pense qu’elle est la plus saine pour moi. J'ai toujours eu du mal à faire la part des choses, et RL représentait un poids trop important dans ma vie. Mon bien-être était unilatéralement dicté par les résultats. Malheureusement, comme vous avez pu le comprendre, gagner sur RL, quel que soit le roster, reste un exploit très complexe, et encore plus difficile à maintenir. Ce milieu est également très éphémère, et chaque année passée ici en plus rendra plus compliqués mes projets futurs en dehors de l’esport. Je souhaiterais remercier tous mes anciens coéquipiers et coachs, ma famille, mes amis et toutes les personnes qui m'ont soutenu et qui m'ont fait grandir au cours de ce voyage. Même si je ne peux pas tous vous citer, vous vous reconnaîtrez en lisant ce message. @RocketBaguette, tout mon parcours s'est fait avec vous. De la GA, aux saisons RLCS sans exception, aux différents titres, jusqu'aux dernières heures de ma carrière. Vous avez été mon plus grand soutien et avez donné vie à mon jeu tous les week-ends pendant une décennie. Tout le monde connaît votre importance et l'influence que vous avez eue sur nous, les joueurs français, et sur la scène RL mais notre lien était unique. @ArchieRL_, @FlamE_RL, @Chausette45 et @exotiikrl, vous êtes les coéquipiers avec lesquels j'ai partagé le plus de souvenirs, de réussites et de rires. Merci d’avoir été des teammates incroyables. Enfin, ma transition vers le coaching m’aura permis, dans un autre rôle, d’aller encore plus loin et de créer une vraie relation avec chacun de vous que j’ai pu coacher. @exotiikrl, @M0nkeyM00n et @dralii897, par votre niveau, votre humour et votre mentalité de champions, vous m’avez offert le plus beau cadeau possible. Tous nos moments sont gravés à vie dans ma mémoire. @zenrll, j’aurais vraiment aimé qu’ensemble, on puisse franchir un cap cette saison. Jusqu’au bout, tu as eu une patience et une mentalité à toute épreuve. Tu es un gagnant, et je ne m’inquiète pas pour ton avenir radieux, Zenito. @GoldenHornets, c'était la première fois que j’ai ressenti autant d'engouement autour d'un roster dont j’ai fait partie. Que ce soit au Flip & Spin durant la saison ou aux Worlds, vous m’avez fait vibrer et donné une raison de plus de me battre, même dos au mur, grâce à vos chants et votre passion. Concernant mon avenir, je ne compte pas déserter la scène Rocket League et souhaite me lancer dans un projet de coaching individuel avec vous. Cela me permettra de garder un pied sur la scène, sans le stress, et de pouvoir gérer mon emploi du temps comme bon me semble. J’envisage aussi, après une pause, de reprendre des études ou formations et de trouver ma nouvelle voie dans le monde réel. Grand merci à vous tous d’avoir lu jusqu’ici. Je vous tiens au courant et vous remercie une dernière fois pour tout !
