@NoemiKhachian Saying this after getting off an airplane with its restrooms is something else.

@MattBrownEP Holding should be a 5 yard penalty outside the red zone, 10 yards inside.

@ralph_roge79381 @CharlesCantlay I wouldn’t leave my buddy in a club in Tokyo either. Get real.
English

@CharlesCantlay Guys - please. Have compassion. He was a healthy strong, energetic 20 yr old who just arrived in Spain! He probably wanted to stay out and have fun - thinking he was safe as he would be in most of America. His friends had no idea how unsafe Europe is now.

A dozen homeowners shut down a highly popular pickleball complex. Among the complaints were that the noise made it difficult to sleep (as if people were playing pickleball at 11 pm) & that street parking was an issue (even though every house has a driveway). NIMBYism is cancer!

@atrupar Democrats want to doxx law enforcement. That’s what’s going on here.

The fact that an old man needs to come out of retirement to pay for medical bills, while illegal immigrants and generational mooches survive off the taxpayer, is so infuriating I can't even out it into words.

@Lifeinvestmoney This is why I pay for AAA. When they replace, all you pay for is the battery part and recycling fee.
English

My battery died in my car yesterday Dealership wanted $400 and Autozone wanted $350 for a new one
So I did the only logical thing you can do
Bought $120 worth of tools, spent 4 hours researching on youtube, put the battery in myself, connected the cables backwards and fried a $3,200 computer

@BoardwalkTimes Play into the "it's like Avatar" gag, make it Flights of Passage, but zanier. 3D glasses or headsets are easily explained away.

It's way better than Elio, but Pixar has fallen far down the ladder as the gold standard of CG Animation and storytelling. This is not a family movie...it's a kids' movie. Jokes and story take no risks in the way Toy Story II and III did, and its world-building falls short compared to Bug's Life. Post-Lassiter, Pixar won't find what made it great ever again.

@Samfan4Films @mypalal You need to watch the movie, the trailer shows nothing about what happens in Act 3.
English

@mypalal The problem is that these stories just sound so boring.
A girl who becomes a groundhog, a girl who becomes a panda, some random kid wants to talk to aliens
Where are the epic space operas? The real adventure stories, the human relationships that don't have to do with animals.

@SMB_Attorney You can't sue Google for bad search results; you won't be able to sue OpenAI for bad legal advice.
English

You guys don’t get it yet.
Everyone keeps saying AI is going to replace lawyers.
I don’t think people understand how this actually plays out.
Let’s say you use AI to draft a contract.
The contract misses something important. A year later it costs you two million dollars.
What do you do?
Right now, you sue your lawyer.
In the AI world, you’d sue the AI company.
Two things can happen.
Option 1: The AI company has liability for legal advice.
If that’s the case, every AI company will immediately stop letting consumers use AI for real legal work. The liability risk is massive.
Option 2: The AI company has no liability because of disclaimers.
If that happens, every state bar in the country will say consumers are being exposed to unregulated legal advice and call it the unauthorized practice of law.
And they’ll shut it down that way.
Either path leads to the same outcome.
Consumer AI will be limited to generic “Wikipedia-style” legal information and LegalZoom level document prep.
But the real AI tools?
Those will live inside law firms.
Lawyers will use them to move faster, analyze more data, and run way more matters at once.
The M&A lawyer doing 5 deals at a time will do 50.
Trial lawyers will run far more cases simultaneously.
The idea that AI replaces lawyers probably dies.
The more likely outcome is that AI supercharges the best lawyers and makes the profession even more profitable than ever.

BREAKING: Lawyers are trying to protect their jobs from Ai. A proposed New York law would ban AI from answering questions related to medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering, & more. It is being pushed by the lawyer lobbyists, they included other groups to get more support.

Serious question for the older generation
How are you not rich yet?
You had:
Gold at $30
Bitcoin at $100
The chance to buy domain names for pennies
The entire internet boom before saturation
Cheap college with little or no debt
Apple before it took over the world
NVIDIA before AI exploded
Amazon before it killed traditional shopping
Netflix, before streaming took over
Meanwhile, our generation gets:
$70k Bitcoin
Real estate inflated 10–20x from what you paid
$1T tech companies already priced to perfection
Student debt, before we can start investing
Retirement accounts that require 60 years to accumulate
But we’re the generation that’s 'lazy' and 'bad with money.'
