1/ Half the confusion in agentic commerce is people calling the whole stack “payments.” Lazy. 2/ Rails move money. Authorization decides what funding source can be used. Approval UX decides when a human says yes. Orchestration decides the sequence. Checkout execution actually gets the order through. 3/ Different failure modes. Different vendors. Different moats. 4/ If your product does one layer, say one layer. The stack is interesting enough without the costume jewelry.
