Maybe some of you haven’t noticed yet, but the @axisrobotics team seems to have fixed the 5/5 task signing issue 👀 I personally had around 10 tasks from 5/5 still waiting to be signed, and today they finally all got signed successfully, hehe!!! Looks like there are quite a lot of bots lately too, so the team has been reopening tasks pretty often for real users, some reopened this afternoon and more tasks reopened again around 9PM. I was lucky enough to catch and complete 1–2 tasks hehe 😭 Did you guys manage to finish today’s tasks and get your 5/5 tasks signed yet?

Seeing some people worried about bot activity and task verification on @axisrobotics lately, but after reading the team’s clarification, I think things make more sense now. From what I understand, even if data gets submitted successfully on the frontend, it does not automatically become a valid contribution. Only trajectories that pass backend verification can actually be signed and counted. So bots may spam submissions, but invalid data eventually gets filtered out, slots get released again, and tasks reopen if needed. That also explains why some “Ended” tasks still aren’t showing 100% completion yet 👀 The verification queue was apparently overloaded last week, but the team already added more servers and said processing should now take under ~12 hours. As a user perspective, this is actually reassuring, because it means contribution quality still matters more than raw spam volume. So yeah, if you’re grinding Axis seriously, I’d say keep going 🤝

Axis đang biến failure thành dữ liệu quý giá cho robot 🤖 Mình vừa đọc xong thread của Axis trên X và thấy khá ấn tượng nên muốn share nhanh vài cảm nhận. Điều thú vị là họ không còn nhìn robotics theo kiểu “càng nhiều data càng tốt” nữa. Axis chỉ ra một vấn đề lớn của ngành hiện tại: static datasets đang dần chạm giới hạn. Phần lớn dataset hiện nay chỉ chứa những lần robot làm đúng, còn các failure states như cầm hụt, lệch góc, misalignment hay va chạm sai lại rất thiếu. Nhưng với robotics, đặc biệt là long-horizon và contact-rich manipulation, chính những khoảnh khắc fail đó mới là dữ liệu giá trị nhất. Axis lấy cảm hứng từ paper OmniReset và phát triển thành hướng gọi là “Failure-Informed Dynamic Data Engine”: • Khi model fail → lưu lại đúng trạng thái thất bại • Route cho con người teleop để recover từ chính điểm fail • Tạo ra recovery trajectory chất lượng cao Nói đơn giản: simulation giúp scale failure, còn con người giúp sửa lỗi thông minh. Mình khá thích flywheel họ mô tả: Collect → Train → Fail → Recollect → Improve Model không chỉ học từ data mà còn tự chỉ ra blind spot để tiếp tục cải thiện. Điểm hay nhất theo mình là cách Axis biến human contribution thành thứ thực sự có giá trị. Thay vì farm task đại trà, mọi đóng góp đều tập trung đúng vào chỗ model còn yếu. Robot không chỉ học cách “thành công”, mà học cách recover và thích nghi với thế giới thực đầy hỗn loạn. Cá nhân mình nghĩ đây mới là hướng rất quan trọng của Physical AI trong tương lai.
