@vyrusvisualss Vaibhav, I just wanna say you’re crashing this more than people I know, and I totally feel you. It’s always easy to make snippets of that life look aesthetic but behind the scenes it’s a grind. You produce such quality, those leads will start converting sooner than later man! 💪

The duality of running a solo design studio at 24 in Bengaluru. This week, on paper, looked like an absolute dream: • Pitched a $5,000 brand identity to a French client. • Quoted a $1,000/month retainer to a top Indian studio. • Locked in a $200/weekly micro-retainer. • Had 2 inbound leads worth $10K each. But here is the reality that doesn't make it to the highlights: Just a few months ago, during the January-April dead zone, I was quietly liquidating my mutual funds and selling stocks JUST to make rent and food. I had a pipeline full of leads, but absolutely zero of them were closing. The mental toll of waking up every day (if I was even able to sleep), staring at a dead inbox, and having zero cash flow is completely paralyzing. You don't see the reality of: • Walking away from a $3,000 deal because the client was not the right fit, even when I desperately needed the money to survive. • Pushing through nth rounds of revisions on a few projects while running on 4 hours of sleep. • Staying up till 5 AM watching Sapne vs Everyone, waking up to construction noise outside my window, and feeling consumed by imposter syndrome. Everyone on socials sounds the same right now. They make scaling an agency sound like a smooth, aesthetic journey. It’s not. It’s chaotic. And yes, I signed up for this. It’s also sending out premium proposals while your heart rate is sitting at 80 bpm just standing still. It’s questioning your entire career path while you're taking a shower, then getting right back into a Figma file. Though things are slightly better now, it's still a fight every single day. But I wouldn't trade it. Building Studio Senju is messy, but gotta do what needs to be done. Just wanted to share what's been happening behind the scenes.
