The @EmiratesFACup - The game is for anyone, anytime, anywhere. In other words: For All.......also The FA charging £175 for an adult and £165 for child ticket for a Cat 1 seat. Disgrace

Palace's win an inevitable aberration, then. Can't be denied that Southampton-Leeds United would have been quite an event with so much meaning to it
Instead the final again between two of football's modern powers, one that was recently punished for breaching Premier League rules, the other still the subject of an investigation that now stretches back over seven years - the club insist on their innocence.

@lukestanley03 Guessing the Arsenal game will be the saturday due to the potential of one of the two clubs being in champions league quarter on the tuesday

@SwedishRumble I have had a season ticket for over 20years and have never bought a single shirt for myself 🤔

"But what if City is innocent???"
In 24/25, City sold shirts for €85m, United sold shirts for €185m, Barca for €277m. City ranks 11th in shirt sales. This is at a point in time when they have been the most successful clubs on the planet for years.
But when we look at total commercial revenue -- City is all of a sudden 3rd in the world. For example just £60m behind Barca -- meaning that sponsors are willing to pay a lot more for being associated with City than Barca.
Can anyone explain to me why there is a link between shirt sales and value of sponsors for every other club in the world, but City is the one club where there is a great gap between where they rank in shirt sales and sponsor income? Unless this can be explained -- in 2025 -- in a way that makes sense commercially, City is not innocent.
And take my word for it -- if we go back to 2015 these numbers looks even more weird.

@City_Zone_ Yeah, Lewis isn't good enough at RB never mind midfield. Like we are trying to be conned into him being any good. Poor team selection, and lack of energy. If he does go in the summer bring in Kompany and get back to flying wingers like Peps early side
English

@TheShireGunner Trying to compare Arsenals success with Citys over that time period is even more laughable

@FootyAccums 65 + 20 is some way short of 100mil when I went to school

Would take Man City's January spending to £100m.
After the £200m they spent last January...
SOMEONE STOP PEP IMMEDIATELY 😭

@AdamJoseph The stain is washed clear with your tears, crying bastard 😢

@alexmoneypenny Probably because we have won 6 league titles out of 8 and still have a net spend much lower than Arsenals over that period
English

@FootyAccums Over £500m in 12 months!
This is what we all have to compete with.
All whist they still sit on the 115 charges.

@w00dy_22 Ffs you wouldnt like sitting next to me then 😂

@markgoldbridge Still more people than at Old Trafford on champions league night this season, hope you enjoyed coronation street 👍🏻

Arsenal have spent the last few years under Arteta being called bottlers and bridesmaids, now they’re top by 4 points, are perfect in the UCL and have conceded 3 goals in 13 games in all comps and they’re getting stick for being boring.
If they were 4th having let in 16 goals, they’d get dug out for not learning how to win games and titles.

🥱 "Watching paint dry." 🙏 "Please be just a bit more expansive." Jeff Stelling calls Arsenal's football painfully dull and pleads for change! 😳 #JeffStelling #AFC #ArsenalFC #talkSPORT

@Ticketmancity @IzzardBecky That what you are paying for someone to go?

@henrywinter Played well this week awful last, couldn't get in the team at Juventue due to bonucci and chiellini (both 30+) then replaced at Bayern by Eric Dyer. Both league titles like Palmer claiming hes won the European cup which he personally says he felt he never won.
English

Mathijs de Ligt appreciation post. Made his Netherlands debut at 17, captained Ajax at 18, won title. Rated so highly as a defender that Juventus paid £67m for him at 19, won title, Bayern Munich paid £65m for him, won title. Mistakes at Juventus and injuries at Bayern slowed trajectory of his career. Manchester United paid £38m and he’s finally showing his undoubted quality this season, his Ajax quality, his physical presence and leadership, his tackling, intercepting, clearing and passing. Another big performance #MUNCHE #MUFC
