One of the greatest books on the distinctives of the Reformed Faith is over half off right now at RHB: I Will Build My Church: Selected Writings on Church Polity, Baptism, and the Sabbath (Witherow) heritagebooks.org/products/i-wil…

Update from Caitlin last night: Maggie’s bone marrow biopsy this morning went well. We hope to hear results sometime next week, and then determine next steps. As usual, her doctors and nurses take such wonderful care of us. We are so thankful for their skill, diligence, and compassion. Caitlin and Maggie were able to get home early this afternoon, and we are so thankful to be together again as a family. Maggie’s numbers dropped again overnight. Her doctors of course are concerned with what they’re seeing, but they still think this could be a transient complication and not necessarily a graft failure. We are praying for this to be the case, and that whatever injury has happened to her marrow, it will recover and work properly again in the next few weeks. We feel a little like we’re reliving last year - she has bruising and petechiae due to low platelets; she is prone to infection and must be kept strictly quarantined; she may feel poorly and have low energy due to low red blood. There are many emotions and many questions, but a hymn keeps running through my mind: All the way my Savior leads me. What have I to ask beside? Can I doubt His tender mercy, Who thru' life has been my Guide? Heav'nly peace, divinest comfort, Here by faith in Him to dwell! For I know, whate’er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well. All the way my Savior leads me, Cheers each winding path I tread; Gives me grace for ev’ry trial, Feeds me with the living Bread. Tho' my weary steps may falter, And my soul athirst may be, Gushing from the Rock before me, Lo! A spring of joy I see. The Lord has been kind and good to us over the many years of our lives. He has been kind and good to us over the past year of Maggie’s sickness. He was kind and good on Sunday before we knew anything was wrong. And He is kind and good today - the same yesterday, today and forever. Can I doubt His tender mercy? The moon is always round, and God is always good. Please continue to pray for Maggie: - That she would not have any fevers with these low counts, as this would result in hospitalization - That she would be kept safe from infections - That her low counts would be a temporary issue, the graft would remain strong, and the marrow would resume working as it should - For Dr. Davis and his medical staff as they figure out her issues - That we would wait well caringbridge.org/site/5ce8e95f-…

I cannot take seriously the Redeemed zoomer idea that the Westminster divines would have sat in the PCUSA church week after week just because they hated schism.

@NoWarChristian They would have hated the current state of the PCUSA, but they certainly would condemn the PCA and all schismatic offshoots.

My latest article for @PCAPolity is out today. I am thankful they decided to publish it. I hope it helps sharpen differing views on Good Faith Subscription in the PCA, especially views recently published by @a4mrofficial pcapolity.com/2026/07/10/goo…
