Marathon really should be an FPS that I hate. - Hero-style classes - Rock paper scizzors-styled counters - Crazy controller aim assist (woke!!) - Ultimate abilities - Heavy consumable item use (Dire Marsh...) Despite all of that, I love Marathon so much. Every new discovery is such an exciting event and the fights are so much fun, too. I think I need to expand my horizons a bit and step outside my comfort zone more often. Also, Mini Jammer is such a good counter to controller players that never learned how to aim! It's so much fun watching those players overshoot and spin around with their aim assist nerfed. Clip is me on @Phlosio's stream. You're missing out on a fun time if you're not tuning in!

Marathon manteve praticamente o MESMO NÚMERO de jogadores desde o lançamento! Extraction é NICHO. O Arc Raiders foi exceção por ser mais casual, não é regra do gênero. A Bungie tem histórico de segurar seus games a longo prazo, não tem o menor motivo pra largar tão cedo. 🤙

@heloeesah O game tem mais profundidade do que apenas 'um FPS de extraction shooter'. Um ponto forte é a história/lore que acontece conforme você progride, tendo ligação com a trilogia original dos anos 90. Já gameplay, sim, é um FPS MP extração, nisso não tem muito pra onde inovar

Honestly really bummed this is just an extraction shooter. I feel like Bungie is wasting such an iconic visual identity with such a shallow genre. From the first trailers, name and visuals, I thought they were really going to bring innovation to the table.

Here we are again. Tried the new update. The recoil bug in Battlefield 6 that overrides your input is still here. Tracking feels like moving my mouse through mud. really frustrating. Nothing changed. How can this top priority not get fixed?! @EA_DICE @Battlefield @DRUNKKZ3

Hours testing post-patch: aim feels BAD, tracking/recoil comp STILL overridden by recoil. Fast sens hides it somewhat but it's WRONG & OFF every burst clipping ruined, more noticeable on slow/mid sens! Some players say it's fixed? Apparently NOT. @Battlefield @DRUNKKZ3

Xfactor Gaming - Battlefield 6 & Arc Raiders
Battlefield 6 and EA are in full on panic mode and why there is hope for DRASTIC changes. The level of transparency we are getting right now is great and appreciated but only happens after the executives and studio heads come together and say "What can we give the community to slow the bleeding of the game as we don't have any meaningful content for months, players are frustrated and our content drops aren't effective at boosting player counts." EA has already emptied the salvo with releasing free to play BR and Season 1 on October 28 which barely moved player counts for roughly 7-8 days before they continued their sharp decline. This of course was the first major cause for concern. As the game was "setting records" for sales there was still a sharp decline in player count numbers. To make things worse the game isn't spiking on patch days or new content drops like Battlefield games and the vast majority of popular games do. Player retention is a massive concern and is always a major focus. This is why EA assigned up to roughly 2 to 2.5 billion in sales associated with BF6 in the first 3 years and a call for 100 million unique players. They saw the game as a major powerhouse with high player retention and draw and have assigned tremendous backend revenue. Well, it clearly isn't working out that way. The game sold, but people aren't playing as much as EA anticipated. So what does this mean? EA knows this version and vision of Battlefield 6 is a failed experiment. Google and YouTube analytics fell off a cliff and Twitch viewership is gone as well and per EA and their executives those are all insanely important to keeping eyes and interest on their games which leads to more players and as a result more money. They actually have an entire division that works with creators, does activations, sponsored deals and tracks every analytic you can think of. The type of external and internal data they have access to is insane. IF EA is serious about saving this game they know they need to commit to a massive overhaul of the game and its features. What they have done and delivered to this point clearly isn't hitting home as the giant slide in active players continues. IF they are gonna just ride the game out you will see small tweaks and changes over time that slowly improve the game but won't be major ticket items or changes. What kind of drastic changes would improve Battlefield? I'll give you two big ones. Bringing in 4-8 classic proven Battlefield maps that people love. Server browser and rental like BC2, BF3 and BF4 days. This game is badly missing communities, platoons and playing BF exactly the way you want to play it. There is zero sense of community which is one of the things that made BF so great in the past. It is dearly missed and rightfully so. The rest is continued improvement and attention to other major issues such as the state of armor and air, netcode, visibility, continued audio improvements, an actual functional now garbage UI, lighting, bots in main modes when they shouldn't be, movement exploits, etc. So, which way does Battlefield 6 go from here?
