@markpinc TikTok and X are the only 2 platforms where ordinary users can find reach and create content in their pjs, no makeup and with no professional equipment. Just good content and a phone. Even if IG cloned the algorithm it wouldn’t get the same content because of the creator culture.

Tik Tok ban may have unintended consequences. Its like taking away crack from addicts. They will hate you for it. First, i believe its justified on natl security and its galling to hear a chinese company ask for free speach rights when US cos arent allowed to even operate. However, i fear the 170m US users will see this as censoring their free speach. Tik Tok knows this and is playing us. They have little to lose bc the sale value without algo is likely sub $10b and the ongoing value is prob worth $100-200b.

It still blows my mind that my favorite piece from the past few months is partly made by AI. Also love that while people discuss whether ai art is art at all, that the artist titled her collection "ai art is not art." Wish this one was mine @clairesilver

I can't wait to see what people are able to build on top of the foundation @supergremplin has laid and there isn't a community I enjoy being a part of more than the @cryptoadzNFT community. !vibe

The wildest thing @supergremplin has pulled off though is he has made most of his work available in the public domain, which means you can create whatever you want with his work. I've already taken the liberty to make 2 minigames with my kids using his work and am just starting.

GM. When I try to think about what makes the works of @supergremplin special to me I realize it all boils down to how he is able to create unique works that evoke a sense of nostalgia, fun & joy that are instantly recognizable as his doing. The @cryptoadzNFT series embodies this.
