I had a new student in my Algebra II class. She was homeschooled previously, and this was her first experience in public school. Two days in, she’s already unerolling. I’m not surprised, given our last conversation. Her words when I asked her what she thought: “I wanted to see what all the hype was and maybe go to prom, but this isn’t for me. Most of class is spent waiting for everyone to open their Chromebooks or figure out what to do after the teacher has literally said it 5 times. And, I can’t use the bathrooms because of all the vaping.” I knew it wasn’t going to work when she brought back an entire unit packet (meant to be completed over 2 weeks) the next day. And no, she didn’t use AI. I asked her a few questions and she could explain the most difficult concepts verbally. She even offered her advice on how the sequencing of the packet could be improved.

What’s it worth to a farmer to let me bale corn stalks? His stalks. I do all the work. Was going to pay him so much a bale. Fertility isn’t a problem, probably has a phosphorus problem from too much manure. Just want to be fair to both of us. I said $10/ bale.He’s skeptical

We weaned first calf heifers yesterday. Calves were given shots, poured and weighed. Then cows are ran through and weighed along with body condition scored. #data

@FDGenetics Hard to complain about good grass but our fall calving is exactly the same in ND.

One more reason I’m not a fan of fall calving in our operation-the inefficiency of looking for one that you know you need to tag😂🤦‍♀️

@MikeManion550 Moultrie Mobile is what I use. Pretty easy, can set up a timer and/or test picture so it doesn’t take a video everytime something moves in front of it. Battery lasts for months. A little pricey for a yearly subscription, but peace of mind is 100%
