🚩Update: The young woman who was targeted by police over a social media post that has gone viral as a golden example of oppressive policing of the internet, freedom of expression and personal opinion spoke to Michael Laws this morning . She was contacted by Police and with her mother went to the station to discuss the issue, as since the post, Renee and her family had received personal threats of violence and retribution against their family business. Police refused to hear their complaints, instead doubled down on the Indian comment. A Senior Police Sergeant accused her of quote : ‘racism, being unkind, and being ‘unwelcoming to the Indian community’ Sadly we have seen the politicisation of police for years now. First Covid comments, then trans, and now mass immigration. Police would sooner investigate a social media post over a burglary, policing thought, not crime. Whitianga Police were frustrated their intimidation tactics didn’t work on Renee had to admit no crime had been committed. However when she pointed out that her post was no more offensive than Shane Jones’ butter chicken tsunami comment, the senior sergeant replied with “We will deal with Shane Jones next” Just a reminder, Police in Starmers UK arrest thousands of people a week for social media posts. With Luxon promising to bring in the EU model of the social media age ban, we are well on the track of European state over reach, and the global attempt to squash any criticism of mass immigration.

🚩 It starts. The NZ Police are going full Keir Starmer, intimidating people for opinions on ridiculous high Indian immigration. A kiwi lady who posted the below picture and caption was called into the Police station for a non threatening post highlighting the enforced demographic change in NZ. She says “I was called into the police station for a senior Sergeant to tell me my post was unkind and “racist”, unwelcoming to the Indian community” She stated that the Sergeant became frustrated when she held her ground, walking away from the interview twice when Renee Rosé refused to accept she had done anything wrong or bow down to Police intimidation. She added : “This is what happens when you live under a soft tyranny of the offended people’s . I won’t silence my views to accommodate your feelings” Remember that National will soon be introducing a 16 year old social media ban to keep kids safe. In reality it will be the adoption of the EU’s internet control to throttle back dissenting views. This is all heading to one destination. Listen to the phone call here:

Myth: "We need to eliminate cattle to stop climate change." Let's check in on Gerald's emissions, in context. The headline argument has, on closer inspection, never met Gerald. UK total emissions, by sector: Transport: 28% Energy: 21% Business: 18% Residential: 17% Agriculture: 11% Industrial processes: 4% Public sector: 1% Of the 11% from agriculture, the bulk is livestock methane and nitrous oxide. Of that, beef cattle specifically account for somewhere around 3-4% of UK emissions. Net off the carbon being sequestered in the soil under permanent pasture, and the figure for grass-fed British beef drops to between 1 and 2%. Some peer-reviewed LCAs of well-managed grazing systems put the net at zero. A few put it negative. Gerald, as a single Hereford cross, is responsible for somewhere between a millionth and a ten-millionth of UK emissions, on a closed biogenic carbon loop, while building topsoil at 1.4 tonnes per hectare per year. You could eliminate Gerald and the climate would not notice. You could eliminate every cow in Britain, end British beef entirely, and the climate would notice maybe 2% of the UK's contribution to a global problem driven by transport, energy, and the cement industry. You would lose: - 65% of British farmland's only food output - Most of British biodiversity's working management - The soil-building function of the entire pastoral economy - Wool, leather, dairy, and the small economies attached - 200,000 direct jobs - 100,000 family farms In exchange for: a number so small it sits comfortably inside the margin of error on the cement industry. The deal, when written down, is embarrassing. The deal is being proposed anyway, with great confidence, by people who have not been outside. Gerald is in the south corner. The cement plant is, somehow, not on anyone's poster. Curious.

Property taxes are just unrealized capital gains taxes and rent to pay municipal bond holders It is Original Sin doctrine in tax that can never be absolved. It is tyrannical and the cornerstone on which the modern Managerial and Bureaucratic State was built and is maintained Always look to Florida to lead the people out of the darkness, we are the Sunshine State after all!
Today Updates 🇺🇸@TodayUpdates0

In a jaw-dropping announcement, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has proposed a bold initiative to place a constitutional amendment on the November 2026 ballot, aiming to completely eliminate property taxes, which could save average families around $3,000 annually. Do you support this? YES or NO? IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!

That cashew cream sauce on your "compassionate" pasta has a story. Cashew shells contain cardol and anacardic acid. Both are caustic. Both burn human skin on contact. Cashews cannot be sold in their shell for this reason. They have to be removed by hand. In India, the workers who do this are mostly women. They are typically not given gloves, because gloves slow the work down and reduce output. They develop chronic burns and open sores on their hands. Some are missing fingers from acid damage. Half a million women are estimated to work in the Indian cashew industry under these conditions. In Vietnam, Human Rights Watch documented that a substantial portion of cashew processing was carried out by detainees in forced-labour drug rehabilitation centres. Refusal to work was punished with beatings, electric shocks, and isolation. Pay was a few dollars a month, often deducted for "food and lodging." This is the supply chain behind a vegan cheese substitute marketed as cruelty-free. A Hereford eating grass in a field doesn't even rank in the same conversation.

Japan: longest life expectancy on the planet (around 85 years). Plant-based advocates: "See? Rice and vegetables!" Japan's actual diet: Seafood: by far the most consumed animal protein, around 45-50kg per capita annually Pork: the most consumed land meat Chicken: a close second Beef: expensive but eaten regularly, and prized Eggs: among the highest per-capita consumption on Earth, often raw on rice Dashi (fish stock): the base of nearly every savoury dish on the table Roughly half of Japanese protein comes from animal sources. Their longevity gets pinned on the rice. Meanwhile they're eating fish at almost every meal, drowning their vegetables in fish stock, cracking eggs into breakfast, and treating beef like a luxury good worth saving up for. The fish is the meal. The rice is there to mop up the dashi. Acknowledging any of this would mean admitting that the longest-lived population on Earth eats half its protein from animals. And that conclusion doesn't fit the pamphlet. So they point at the rice. Hope nobody asks what's on top of it.

There are 17 committee boards who decide where lotto money gets spent. The proposal takes it down to 7. I can built an AI model which will do this for free in a day. Government spending other people's money will always be excessive until we stop it.

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐭: 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 $𝟏.𝟑 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 The 2026 Ratepayers’ Report – the local council league tables – shows that among New Zealand’s biggest urban councils, staffing costs have become a major burden on households. While Auckland runs the country’s largest council machine in absolute terms, three other councils stand out for punishingly high staffing costs per household. Tauranga is costing households $2,047 in staff spending alone, Hamilton City $1,955, and Wellington City $1,919. Across the five councils, at least 324 council staff are paid more than $200,000 a year, with 88 paid $256,800 - more than a Government minister (outside of cabinet). Taxpayers’ Union spokesman Josh Van Veen said: "At a time when families are cutting back, councils are asking ratepayers to fund ever-larger payrolls and management structures." "For households feeling the pressure of high rates, these figures confirm exactly what they have long suspected: too much of their money is being swallowed by council staffing costs before a single pothole is filled." "Wellington, Hamilton, and Tauranga lead the pack on a per-household basis. Auckland may spread its costs across a bigger base, but it still runs a vast bureaucracy that would make even Wellington blush." "These figures suggest that the idea of 'public service' appears to have disappeared from local government. In some small towns now, the best paid jobs are at the local council. That's not sustainable." "Local councils often claim that rates hikes are needed to fund infrastructure. But time and time again, the extra money goes on staffing. That is why capping rates to inflation is overdue." 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 – Tauranga is the most staffing-expensive of the metro councils on a per-household basis, with staff costs of $2,047 per household. – Wellington has the densest workforce, at 19.3 FTE per 1,000 households, and the highest consultant-and-contractor spend per household at $736 per household. – This is 28 percent more than second-placed Hamilton City Council, which spent $575 per household. – Christchurch refused to declare their contractor cost, but spent $72,416,538 on consultants, at $436.20 per household. – Hamilton is the most top-heavy structurally, with 26.8 percent of staff in management/comms roles. – Auckland ratepayers are not just funding services; they are propping up a bureaucracy with 948 managers and 77 communications staff.
