Dear Italy,
Your PM just defended Pope and lost an ally in Washington — the Commander in Grief, yet the most 'powerfool'man on earth.
We'd like to apply for the vacancy.
Our qualifications: 7,000 years of civilization, a shared love of poetry, architecture, and food that takes longer to prepare than Trump's attention span.
The only thing Iran and Italy have ever fought over is who invented ice cream. Faloodeh came first. Gelato came louder. We've been in a 'cold' war over this for 2,000 years.

I don’t subscribe to any religion, but if I’m being honest with you, this level of bravery to defend one’s sovereignty would not have been possible if Iran was a majority Christian nation. They would have caved in since.
Christians are conditioned to fear death to the point that they are willing to become slaves if the condition guarantees they stay alive. Which doesn’t really make sense with a critically examination, because death is better than most living conditions.
This is why, when you look at Africa, the weak links are usually the areas colonized by Christianity.

Soon, Kenyans will be able to purchase brand-new vehicles at the same price, or even lower, than importing an eight-year-old used vehicle.
This shift is already taking shape, and we congratulate Isuzu for putting Kenya on the global map as the first country to manufacture the MU-X model outside Thailand.
With local assembly attracting tax incentives, the price of the MU-X will drop by 27 percent, from KSh 13.5 million to KSh 9.9 million.
For the first time, Kenyans can access a brand-new, zero-mileage vehicle at a price they have traditionally paid for a used import.
This is the narrative we are changing through the Automotive Policy—moving Kenya from a used-vehicle market to a brand-new vehicle market.
The Samurai Bond, which will finance local manufacturing of vehicle components, will further reduce vehicle prices.
Also, the government’s leasing programme is encouraging local assembly and parts manufacturing, with vehicles that have higher local content enjoying better tax incentives.
Present were Mr Junichi Kubo, President, Isuzu Motors International; Rita Kavashe, Managing Director, Isuzu East Africa; H.E. Hiroshi Matsuura, Ambassador of Japan to Kenya; and Dr Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary, Industry.

Mind you maize has carbohydrates, proteins, a little fat, fibre, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, iron, vitamin B and vitamin C 😂. So when you say maize meal has no nutritional value it really makes us wonder what your sources are and how you arrive at such disingenuous conclusions.

Very true, ugali has no nutritional value

Dear Kenyans, when people unite, in truth, for a just cause, miracles happen.
We are seeking your assistance in reposting the petition to have the constitution of Kenya studied in school from primary to tertiary level.

This year, I rebuilt my father’s house, the place that held his love and part of his legacy.
When he died, everything was taken from us by his relatives because he had daughters. To them, he died with no children. All that remained was the pain and the memories.
Two decades later, this reconstruction has been so much more than a responsibility, it has been a journey of healing, of honour and of quiet defiance.
I haven’t managed to complete it yet. But seeing it rise, it feels like we are restoring both his memory and our dignity.

Sudan’s crisis is one of those slow burning catastrophes that the world knows is horrific but somehow keeps slipping through the cracks of global attention.
The tragedy isn’t just the fighting; it’s the silence, the numbness of the UN & AU.

One hopes our Muslim West African brethren see what is happening in Sudan and finally take the hint that the past 1,000 years of history has been trying to give them.
There is no such thing as an "Ummah". Islamic unity is a myth and a fantasy. The UAE, a Muslim country, is committing a genocide against Black Muslim populations in Sudan, using weapons supplied from Turkey, also a Muslim country.
When push comes to shove, everyone remembers where they are from. The Arabs are Arabs first and foremost. The Turks are Turks first and foremost. You are an African, so you better learn to be an African first and foremost.
Get your head out of your ass and quit using emotional fantasies like the "Ummah" as a psychological crutch to deal with a harsh and unforgiving world. You are a Black African and that is all the world will ever see you as - it doesn't matter how Muslim or Arab-adjacent you are. It doesn't matter whether your great-great-great-great-great grandfather's sister came from Mecca - you are a Black African now.
Stop running away from yourself and accept reality.

WHY THE GOVERNMENT FEARS A LUO KIKUYU UNITY
Whenever Kikuyus and Luos unite, the coalition they form always leads to a tyrannical revolution.
It is a historical thing in Kenya, and everyone in government knows this.
Those who hate change and love the status quo have learnt to hate a unity between the Lake and Mountain.
And no, it has nothing to do with whether the phallus is sharpened or not. It's deeper!
In 1952, Kikuyus and Luos formed a militia under the Kenya African Union (KAU, which would later become KANU) to fight for independence.
Kûng'û Karumba and Bildad Kaggia met with a genius Luo called Ochieng Oneko to form a think Tank for the MauMau.
They were arrested and detained in who we call the Kapenguria Six
And yes- Ochieng Oneko, the Luo strategist, was a MauMau thinktank!
The white colonial oppressors hated to imagine a union between the lake and the mountain.
Whenever the colonialists killed a prominent Kikuyu, they'd scatter leaflets to blame it on the Luo.
And whenever they killed a prominent Luo, they'd blame it on the Kikuyu.
The idea was simple- keep these powerful communities hating each other.
Divide them, and rule them.
In 1963, Jaramogi Odinga fondly insisted that his friend Jomo Kenyatta be released before anything like independence.
"No Kenyatta, No Uhuru", he said
Jaramogi would have been Prime Minister. But he refused because he understood the Whiteman's divisive tactics.
Kenyatta and Jaramogi would eventually fall out in 1968; which soured relationships between the Luo and the Kikuyu.
Two young brilliant minds, Tom Mboya and Mwai Kibaki, would write down a beautiful paper on economic planning dubbed
Sessional Paper No. 10 of 1965, titled "African Socialism and its Application to Planning in Kenya."
The policies in the document would then lead to the conception of the LAPSET project in 1975.
Literally, every major infrastructural project you know today was captured in their plan.
Lamu Port, SGR, Superhighways, Etc.
But Tom would be killed!
The Whiteman had achieved his scheme.
Kenya would sink into a dark chapter for the next four decades!
In the late 80s and early 90s, the country saw a glimpse of hope when the Luo and Kikuyu communities came together again.
This time, to repeal the electoral laws.
They successfully repealed section 2A, which made Kenya a multiparty state!
THe Forum for Restoration of Democracy (FORD) party was formed.
But, like a porcelain mason jar, the new party would fall and break into several pieces.
FORD People, FORD Asili, FORD Kenya and every other FORD they could get.
The division now earned the tyrant Moi and the white man's cabal yet another ten years to loot the country.
In 2002, the Luos and Kikuyus came together to bring down the tyrannical KANU era! 70% of Kenyans rallied behind them to bring an economic revolution that would last ten years.
But how would they run the country on the punitive and draconian white man's laws of the Lancaster Constitution?
In 2001, Luos tried without Kikuyus to bring constitutional changes on Maximum reforms vs Minimum reforms. They failed terribly.
In 2005, Kikuyus tried alone without Luos to bring a constitution and failed terribly during the Orange 🍊 vs Banana 🍌 referendum.
In 2010, gracefully, the heavens conspired to put Luos and Kikuyus in one basket. The constitutional reforms came with the Constitution of Kenya, what people called the Kibaki Raila Constitution.
Kenya had never seen the kind of development that happened when Kibaki and Raila were in power.
Education was free.
Hospital bills were paid in peanuts.
Banks literally chased after people to register bank accounts.
Banks advertised loans and credit like ice cream vendors.
Raila's Tinga would bulldoze Mûrang'a Road and, together with Kibaki, built the phenomenal Thika Super Highway!
These were the good times!
