Since joining Wake Forest in 2019, Dr. Hughes has distinguished himself as a nationally recognized pediatric spine researcher, accomplished clinician, and deeply committed educator and mentor. His leadership within our academic mission, residency training, and faculty development—combined with his active engagement in organizations such as POSNA, SRS, and the AMA—has made a lasting impact across our department.
