Just a reminder that the superintendent’s recent stunts are an attempt to distract the public from his failure to apply for hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants. He is the “Boy Who Cried Woke.” Don’t be distracted.

@waldron4ok But the grants he applied for weren’t the Title I grants. Without those Title funds, so many children will lose out on major services to fulfill their Math and Reading needs.

The hammer blows continue to fall under this superintendent. The loss it Title I money makes it harder to feed hungry kids. Incompetence? Maybe, but again, I think this is not a bug in the system. It’s a feature of this government.

‼️FEDERAL GRANT UPDATE: Rep. McBride tells me OSDE did not apply for more than $270M of federal grants. He says his info is from the U.S. Dept of Education. His concern is OK taxpayer dollars will go to other states because OSDE doesn’t think the grants fit “Oklahoma values.”
