Jay Edwards endorsement and No Vivek mention? Senator Antani forget our past disagreements, you are clearly a ball knower!
Niraj Antani@NirajAntani

On Tuesday, Ohio’s Republican primary will take place. The future of our party is at stake. I’ve endorsed the below candidates and I hope you’ll join me in supporting them. My friend @JayEdwardsOhio is endorsed by Vice President @JDVance and our Senator @berniemoreno. We need a pro-Trump fighter. Please vote for him. See all my other endorsed candidates here:

@jstewartIndy At the same time those chambers rarely object to legislation from Commons. And I doubt with today’s partisanship in the U.S. an appointed Senate would do the same

@jstewartIndy It’s funny how people react when you tell folks basically every other upper chamber in bicameral leg/parliaments across the world are unelected. Not to defend the House of Lords, Canadian Senate etc. Peerage has a lot of issues. But that’s the norm elsewhere

This might surprise some Hoosiers, but the founding fathers actually intended U.S. Senators to be subservient to their state legislature. “It is equally unnecessary to dilate on the appointment of senators by the State legislatures. “Among the various modes which might have been devised for constituting this branch of the government, that which has been proposed by the convention is probably the most congenial with the public opinion. “It is recommended by the double advantage of favoring a select appointment, and of giving to the State governments such an agency in the formation of the federal government as must secure the authority of the former, and may form a convenient link between the two systems.” - James Madison

@rep_favorite @AustinHoney30 Ineffective leader Kinda seen as self serving with a lot of OH Dems Progressives don’t like her making the redistricting deal even if it was the politically smart call. And then bailing the house immediately after

@jstewartIndy @TPAction Agreed. There’s states where their local dudes aren’t serious at all (Wisconsin a big one- those guys have no clue what they’re doing). The Indiana TPUSA guys at least have a good ground game and feel of the state and don’t get to lead

@walkeri141 @TPAction That makes it more egregious - they’ve got solid TPUSA members in the state they could elevate but they instead fly in people from out of state that clearly disdain locals

@jstewartIndy @TPAction Like flexing an endorsement from Rudy in SD-11 when he hasn’t lived in Indiana for decades. That sounds awesome if you only know Notre Dame from the movie but otherwise that means nothing

@jstewartIndy @TPAction I’ll give Roberts and Kruse credit for at least being from Indiana despite my disagreement with them. The rest of these guys are all just flown in from Arizona for a week and then bail as fast as Scott Presler

@stacey_hauff I’ve also been seeing a ton of accounts tweeting about how Ohio can retaliate against blue states and it’s like no, no it can’t! The map is constitutionally required to stay until 2031!

Including Ohio in these fights is disingenuous. Setting aside any debate on strategy, the current map passed with bipartisan support. And new districts were drawn because it was time, not as a response to happenings nationally. This is the process in our state constitution.
Micah Erfan@micah_erfan

10 red states have or are in the process of imposing brutal gerrymanders without a single vote. 2 blue states have responded with voter-approved temporary redraws. Democrats have also introduced a bill to ban gerrymandering nationwide. Both sides are not the same.
