Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

@BlakeBohne @justicedems @Justinjpearson The citizens of Memphis who have been ignored and marginalized by a corrupt and rotten Democratic Party that has the city on par with Mogadishu, Somalia finally have a voice. Elections have consequences.
English

To my fellow White Americans, especially in the South:
If you truly believe in the Constitution and equal protection under the law, then you should oppose this — regardless of party.
Tennessee Republicans just split up Memphis, a city that is 63% Black, and stretched its voters across three congressional districts — some reaching nearly 200 miles away — specifically to dilute Black voting power and eliminate their political voice.
This isn’t about politics. This is about silencing a group of American citizens.
Any form of government trying to suppress any group of its own people should be opposed by every American who claims to love this country.

Everyone needs to watch @Justinjpearson's floor speech from the TN State House.
"Today, you will take the only Black-majority district from us. But I want you to know: No matter what you do, no matter how much you try to break us & make us bend & quit — we will still be here."
English

@TeamKClark Yeah if people vote for something that should trump the Constitution. Let's have a referendum to end birthright citizenship. May the majority win and may the Supreme court let the people decide.
English

Let’s be clear: If this standard applies in Virginia, it should apply in Florida too.
Two different standards for democracy is not justice.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow
The Virginia Supreme Court has narrowly voted to overturn the will of the people, who voted for a new map to counter Trump’s gerrymandering. This is despite Republicans in the South moving to eliminate Black-majority districts without even a vote after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act.
English

@GovernorVA You tried to disenfranchise half of your voting population and then this happens 😂😂😂 you guys in VA were the catalyst for the republican states to all redistrict legally post SCOTUS ruling. Take the L LOL
English

More than three million Virginians cast their ballots in Virginia’s redistricting referendum, and the majority of Virginia voters voted to push back against a President who said he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress with a temporary and responsive referendum. They made their voices heard.
I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.
English

@royermattw You cucks do this in every blue state where you control the state houses. Go look at the Illinois district map and shut up. Your fake outrage is pathetic.
English

@micah_erfan Democrats did the same thing in 2004 when they controlled the state house. Get over your pearl clutching. Racially based districts are insane and racist.
English

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as Tennessee House Republicans Pass Controversial Racist’ Redistricting Map Sparking huge outrage on Angry Protests as they say 99% white Tennessee House Republicans passed it and they are stripping majority Black Memphis of congressional representation
English

@ClownWorld They charge me 18% for a “service charge” and don’t give it to the server/staff? Fuck that restaurant. Not tipping on top of that. Pay a livable wage for fucks sake

Data centers are needed to store, process, and deliver the digital information and services that modern life depends on. They are extremely useful, and we should build more useful things.
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS
Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night. At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan. The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.
