One day I asked him, “Bro, are you even making money from trading?” He smiled and said, “Not yet… but I will.” People laughed at him. “You’re still on demo?” “How many accounts have you blown?” “Forex go humble you.” But he kept showing up. Every. Single. Day. Some days, he traded small. Some days, he didn’t trade at all just backtesting, journaling, studying the charts. He blew accounts. Funded again. Lost again. Still came back. No posting. No noise. No shortcuts. Just consistency. Fast forward to 2023… He stopped coming. Everyone said the same thing: “He don give up.” Months later, I heard something surprising… “He just moved into his own house that he built. I didn’t believe it at first. Until one day, I went to see for myself. Clean, quiet, well-arranged place. Nothing too loud… but you could tell progress. It was him. Same guy people mocked. Same guy that kept failing. Same guy that refused to quit. I asked him, “Guy… you don blow?” He smiled and said, “I didn’t blow… I just finally understood.” That hit differently. He didn’t change strategy every week. He didn’t chase signals. He didn’t rush profits. He changed his mindset. Now he was calm. Patient. Disciplined. Consistent. Before I left, he told me something I’ll never forget: “I started seeing results the moment I stopped trying to get rich quick.” Today, he trades with confidence. Lives comfortably with his family And most importantly he’s in control. The same guy people laughed at… Now living proof that it works. Road to Funded Week 1 Outlook. One idea I’m currently watching: Potential GBP weakness following the reaction from a higher timeframe zone. If the setup forms, this could create an opportunity on GBPCAD. That said, the upcoming week needs to be approached with a high level of caution. Current geopolitical developments could lead to increased volatility and potential gaps at market open. Risk management will be key, and flexibility is important as new information can shift market conditions quickly. In this environment, it’s less about forcing trades and more about waiting for high-quality setups. If the setup does not form exactly as expected, it is not valid for me! Risk per trade is currently reduced to around 0.75% given the current market conditions. Tomorrow I’ll share my exact framework for how I adjust risk management across different market phases and setups. I’ll keep you updated along the way.
