Check out my op-ed in the New Orleans Advocate calling for the restoration of voting rights for formerly incarcerated individuals in Louisiana: bit.ly/2JTrh3e. A bill pending in the LA House of Representatives would be a huge step toward upholding the state constitution.

Since my book is dedicated to my mother (along with my wife), it seems fitting that my mom managed to get a copy before I did.
