BREAKING: "Ibos Are Indigenous to Oyo State" – Igbo Man Claims Ancestral Land in Southwest, Calls for United Fight Against Yorubas A video has emerged showing an Igbo man making a series of explosive claims about Igbo presence in Oyo State and the wider Southwest. According to him, there are Igbo communities indigenous to Oyo State, as well as ancient Igbo settlements scattered across the Southwest. He alleged that the Oyo State government has deliberately denied these so-called indigenous Igbo communities access to social amenities because they have refused to integrate with Yoruba culture. He also accused Yorubas of grabbing land from indigenous Igbos in Oyo, claiming that one Mr. Emeka is ready to return the lands to Igbos. The man then called on Igbos allegedly indigenous to Oyo and other Southwest states to unite and fight Yorubas.

Let me correct this misinformation. It was Pres. Tinubu who invited Gov Adeleke to join the APC because of his popularity and acceptability in Osun. But because Oyetola knows that once Adeleke joins the APC, he will automatically become the leader of the party in the state and his (Oyetola) influence in the presidency will reduce. That was why he blocked the governor from joining the APC. Meanwhile, the people of Osun are solidly behind the governor in his party, Accord
Daniel Regha@DanielRegha

Wasn't his uncle trying to join the APC where Oyetola is, the same opposition he campaigned against at the state level to win the election? And was rejected from joining the same APC mind you. Remind us what desperation is again.

2024, Barr Omosede, bought a governorship ticket in the Obaseki faction of PDP then, during the primary she stepped down publicly and endorsed Obaseki candidates with a promise (immediately after she started uploading deputy governor message), but when she sensed she was being played, came to APC table to negotiate for a HoR ticket and they promised her to get it. Immediately the seat became vacant in 2024, she got the ticket, and in 2027, she got a return ticket because in APC we are fidelity, we keep our word.....

ADC/NDC: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE! With Obi and Kwankwaso aligning with the NDC, this shift could turn into an unintended advantage for the coalition. While many Nigerians, myself inclusive, had hoped for a single, united coalition, it’s reasonable to assume that Tinubu would have deployed every available resources at his disposal, including the courts, to keep the ADC off the ballot. But now, with the coalition effectively split into two blocs, ADC and NDC, that calculation changes. If Tinubu continues targeting the ADC alone, it would risk leaving the NDC, backed by Obi and Kwankwaso, as the sole opposition platform. That could prove politically costly for Tinubu. On the other hand, moving against both ADC and NDC would raise serious concerns domestically and internationally, potentially casting doubt on Nigeria’s democratic credibility in general. In that context, the more likely scenario i forsee happening, is that Tinubu allows both parties (ADC and NDC) to contest, resulting in a divided opposition heading into 2027. If that happens, we may see a repeat of the 2023 pattern at the presidential level (Cos this will definitely favour Tinubu) while ADC and NDC make significant gains in National Assembly races, particularly across the North and East. Regardless of how this unfolds, I remain committed to the ADC. My hope is that both ADC and NDC will dial down tensions and keep sight of a broader objective. Politics has a way of bringing unlikely partners back to the table, and cooperation, in one form or another, may yet prove necessary! Salihu Tanko Yakasai, Arise and shine, Nigeria 🤝

Bola Ahmed Tinubu was originally positioned to be the vice-presidential candidate in 2015 but stepped aside, allowing Yemi Osinbajo to take the role. Osinbajo then served two full terms as Vice President; effectively occupying the political space Tinubu had conceded. Despite that, Osinbajo chose to contest against Tinubu in the 2022 APC presidential primaries. Tinubu’s supporters never demanded that Osinbajo step down. Tinubu himself didn’t call for it either. Leadership isn’t about clearing the path by asking others to withdraw. If a candidate depends on others stepping aside to secure a ticket, it raises a fundamental question about their strength and suitability for the role.

It does . I have personally seen one. One day, I woke up to go for early morning church. It was a full moon night, and I didn’t check the time, I just got ready and left my house. My area is surrounded by big bushes. On my way, I suddenly noticed I was having goosebumps, and my head started swelling. The next thing I saw was a very short man in rags, crying. I ran straight back home. My body was really shaking. When I got home, I checked the time, it was 2 a.m. It wasn’t even morning yet.

Which kind nonsense be this for God's sake. Azikiwe left Igbo land and wanted to rule Yorùbáland. So we should have made Azikiwe Yorubaland leader and become slaves to Igbo people on our land? Are you people crazy or what? The only offense of Yoruba against Igbo is that we refuse to be ruled by Igbos on our land in the sprit of true Federalism. If not for Awolowo and Yorubas, Igbos would never have survived the destruction of the war and rebounced like they did today. Do you all want to take our lives before you are satisfied? ==================== Azikiwe, an Igbo man began TRIBAL BIGOTRY. He founded IGBO FEDERAL UNION IN 1944 . The moment AWOLOWO founded EGBE OMO ODUDUWA about 4 years later, Azikiwe started a propaganda campaign using his WEST AFRICAN PILOT NEWSPAPER CLAIMING "Awolowo EGBE OMO ODUDUWA is against the UNITY of Nigeria and it's an ETHNIC bigotry organization" Whereas, at this time, Azikiwe was an elected representative in Lagos, representing his division in Western Region capital in Ibadan. But this wasn't enough for Nnamdi Azikiwe. About 7 years later, he campaigned in the election for Western Regional Government and lost.because Awolowo outworked him. BUT IGBOS LIKE THIS FOOL WILL COME OUT TO DAY SAY RUBBISH!
