This is why we can't have nice things in #BTV. This building has zero historical or cultural significance to the city. The group protesting is a text book example of ultra-conservatism - nothing should ever change.

@wamasoniv @rnadworny That is a great perspective Chip, and not one I had considered. How do we fix the system then so delays for groundless reasons don't stall/kill projects? That tactic (lawyer up & stall) has done a great deal to set us back literally years of development & economic growth.

@janemswift Lots of very angry parents. Many freshman were in NYC or on way to quarantine when email hit inbox. No live person to call. Questions sent to anonymous email. No response back yet. I am blown away by lack of transparency and responsiveness.

@janemswift Barnard and Columbia made decision to go 100% online yesterday . . . The day after tuition payments were due. No option for gap year. Feeling very cynical and angry after many zoom meetings and emails after how they were going to make it work.
