Please just go to their official Artfight art and assets page, pull up a header, and time yourself writing an accurate and thorough description.

@jondbarrow @jjohnjohnjohnjo As someone who has written alt text for images, it takes more than a minute per image, especially for more complex images like their headers can be. I get stumped sometimes finding words for what I’m looking at and making sure it hits all the important info.

@robotcocksucker the crazy part is that all the text on the FAQ sites inherits from 1 section in the CSS file so making another CSS file for dyslexic fonts is about as much work as adding dark mode LOL

@akamestudio Test it with a screen reader first and see how difficult it is for the info to get conveyed/if it takes a long time to read the options. If it takes too long, simplify the emojis a bit (you should still keep them in since it’s part of your brand/showcasing your personality!)

It’s not a perfect solution by any means but there’s not a lot of other solutions they can do with AF being less than a month away.

Someone reporting for “they drew something that breaks site rules” then holds the same weight as “they interacted with me even tho they have OCs for this fandom!”
