highlight of my day was when my registrar asked me if it really took me an hour to catheterise the patient but really i accidentally got locked in the supply closet on the ward and had no cell service so had to keep shouting to get someone’s attention to help me out🥹

i had the best taster week in ENT! amazing anatomy, the coolest surgeries, and diverse set of patients. it truly sparked joy and reinforced that surgery really is the path for me.

perks of being an SHO is getting to go to clinics and see patients! seeing the outpatient endocrinology patients today was so useful for my learning☺️

i asked my consultant if he’s a professional yapper in theatres today and he laughed saying i keep him young😂 gen z lingo for the win😂

this SHO on call rota is no joke🫠

I had the best time presenting our research on prehabilitation in colorectal cancer patients at the @asgbi International Surgical Congress! Very thankful to my supervisors in the colorectal team at the Royal Liverpool Hospital for helping me get this amazing opportunity.👩🏾‍⚕️
