it’s the DOUBLE STANDARDS for chinese and western films that we’re calling out. was that not blatantly obvious??

but the problem is western films are still respected as more than just their propaganda yet chinese films aren’t. instead, a hazard label is slapped on, they’re immediately dismissed of all artistic value, and their actors get accused of being propaganda mules. that’s not fair
