Guys! I just reach 100% progression on @WaniKaniApp and learned 2k kanji in almost 3 years. Honestly, it has been a really enjoyable experiece to learn kanji and vocab using Wanikani. There're still many reviews to do but never thought I could reach this point at all🥹
BACK TO 0 BABY! Ironically going to japan in August '23 hurt my Japanese learning and got me out of good habits. My @WaniKaniApp queue was stuck at like 1,500 for a long time (I am at level 60 but a LOT of work to still be done). FINALLY back to 0 after more than 2 years!!
@ConnWill727 That's a strange one indeed, would you mind sending us an email at hello@wanikani.com with your username so that we can check your account?
@Rayleigh945 Most definitely! The best way to do that is to send us a message over at hello@wanikani.com. For now though, I'll mention 返品 to the content team.
Officially hit two and a half months of studying Japanese!! ありがとう @tofugu@WaniKaniApp for being a way of learning that clicks with me 😸 I’ve never been happier to have a pop up
Interesting issue with @grok image generation. Seriously doubt this is intentional; just an unplanned side effect. I mostly use image generation for mnemonic devices with Japanese kanji characters.
recent example:
喫, which means 'consume'
The radicals that comprise this character are: mouth, king, sword, and big.
I gave grok the following prompt:
"can you create an image of a king with a big mouth who is holding a sword and eating everything around him"
result: "Unfortunately I can't generate that kind of image."
when I asked for details, I got the responses below.
I expect this is actually a #Flux issue with @bfl_ml rather than Grok itself.
Also interesting; no such restriction with @OpenAI Dall-E.

@fishbrained Keep up the great work! Hopefully you have gotten through your backlog. Reach out at hello@wanikani.com if you need any tips and tricks on how to tackle big review queues!
@WaniKaniApp I've lost a bit track of using app during 3 months cause I was on something else. The 200 cards review backlog brought me a little down. But I was surprised how Kanji were stored in my memory. Fantastic method.
Suffered months of Japanese kanji and vocab reviews in 苦
Now I pass into 死
Thank you @WaniKaniApp for a merciful death.
Have you reviewed your kanji today?
