Born this day 20th. March 1919. PO. John Dallas Crossman. Australian One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Crossma… Jumped by Me109s he was shot down and killed, his Hurricane crashing in flames. He is buried in Chalfont St Giles churchyard, Buckinghamshire where he had relatives.

Lost his life this day 19th. March 1941. PO. Anthony Kershaw. One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Kershaw… His Hurricane was shot down by an Me109. He baled out too low and was killed. Age 21. His brother John had been killed one year earlier.

Born this day 18th.March 1920. Sgt. Oldrich Kestler. Czech One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Kestler… Flying from Tern Hill, his Hurricane collided with a Spitfire &both pilots were killed. Buried in Market Drayton Cemetery, Shropshire. He was awarded the Czech Military Cross.
