@Ineverglow Wow 96 had an absolute huge impact on me. I was always counting down the songs until Shine came on. It was such a different song than the rest and sparked my love of 90's era Newsboys.

@dawsoncowals “Newsboys was always Peter Furler to me.” I could not agree more. I love their run from Not Ashamed to Thrive. After that they went the worship route and I stopped listening. I’ll go back to those older albums from time to time and they’re still great.

This tournament is nearly ready to drop. A few quick things: - I did not limit to 1 album per artist because I want it to be my actual 100 favorite albums. So yes, there’s a lot of Falling Up and Moving Mountains -this tournament is not only Christian albums, so there will be a small number of songs that have cuss words or sexual language. Not a lot, but there are a few. -my patreon subscribers voted that one matchup be posted every day rather than a section at a time. I will post one every weekday and each poll will last three days. -yes, there are artists and albums that I absolutely adore that didn’t make the list. @Ineverglow Shine. 7 year old me felt it was very unique compared to the other songs, and I was always excited when it came on. After hearing this song, I began to buy Newsboys CDs, up until Thrive. They were the first band I really got into. I still listen to their 90's albums, still great.
