Do you like railroad ties that line the face of a bunker?

Harry Maguire pretending to be kicked in the head when he isn’t touched at all, David Raya pretending to have been launched to the floor when he isn’t touched at all…surely the time has come to retrospectively ban this sort of play acting/cheating? Pathetic and awful to watch.

To me he’s 3 million dollar player when healthy. That number goes down with 8 years, not up. This would be very interesting. Benefit of doubt with the injury but he was a non factor in the playoffs.

Where was this Jeff Skinner all year?

Oilers, Trent Frederic are ‘close to getting done’ an eight-year contract oilersnation.com/news/edmonton-…

This summer there will be hundreds of takes about what’s wrong with the Oilers that will ignore the obvious answer It isn’t that too much $ goes to 97 & 29. It isn’t lack of depth in the bottom 6 For god’s sake they made it to B2B Cup finals They don’t have a Goalie. Full stop

#Penguins Gretzky & Ovi average .60 goals/game in their career. Mario averaged .75 goals/game in his career. 99 & 8 played 572 more games than 66. If 66 played those extra games at his average he'd have 429 more goals giving him 1,119 goals! 224 ahead of both 99 & 8 @Steigerworld

Lots of chatter about high-priced green fees recently (rightfully so) - but quality #golf isn’t always expensive. Here’s my ‘Most Intriguing Under $100’ (among U.S. courses I’ve played/want to play). If I’m missing something good, put me on. List = Max Green Fee, Walking Rate

A genuine set of questions for @MarkJCarney and @PierrePoilievre: What is the limit of the extent to which the government can confiscate our hard-earned money? Our income is taxed provincially and federally at one of the highest rates in the world. We then pay sales tax on what we spend both provincially and federally. We also pay property tax, school tax, exit tax, and endless other forms of taxation. The taxation oversight and burden is simply astounding. And yet we know that countless people in the political class find ways to avoid paying taxes. Is a human being a free individual if 50%-70% of their earnings are taxed? What are the philosophical and moral principles that animate your right to steal our financial future, our peace of mind, and the fruits of our labor to such an extent? Every time that I work hard to be a productive member of society (in my case by being a professor and author), I end up at the same financial place (if not worse) because my taxation burden keeps increasing. I can't escape Canada's taxation system even when most of my income comes from outside of the country. Is there no sense of shame? When does it become too much in terms of what you take from your most productive citizens? I am being fully transparent here: There is nothing that has traumatized me more in my life than the taxation that I face, and I faced the Lebanese civil war.

A petition to rename Wayne Gretzky Drive in Edmonton has gathered over 11,000 signatures, questioning his loyalty to Canada. Suggested alternatives include Terry Fox Drive and Joey Moss Drive.

Thoughts from Genesis (Torrey pt 2) -Whenever I play here, there’s a wave of gratitude and a feeling of accomplishment. I grew up 10min away, Torrey was my home course, and watched Tiger win many many times at Torrey Pines. This is where I grew my dreams as a pro golfer. -Happy to finish T-13 at a signature event. These tournaments actually do have most of the top 10 golfers in the world (lol) and I’m happy with the way I plotted my way around the course especially that first day. There were parts of my game that were up and down each day but that’s golf. Also glad that I didn’t let the t2 finish from last week get me complacent. The cut was prob a big help with that -Golf is funny game. I shot +10 to miss the cut by a mile three weeks ago but played well this week at the same course. What changed? Some confidence for sure, some short game, but I never felt like I was super off my game even when I shot +10 🤷🏻♂️ -Ludvig is a stud (duh) but so is Maverick. -It’s a weird feeling during Tue and wed when the field is so small. The range and course isn’t at all crowded but everywhere you look is a top 50 player in the world. You def get a sense that this is a really big tournament. -Had a terrible warm up on Sunday morning but ended up finding a score which I’m super proud of and something I couldn’t have done in the past. I had some adjustments off the tee that worked well and short game and putting stepped up when I needed it. -Off to a great start but I have to keep going because I really want to keep playing in these signature events. Onto VidantaWorld!

@MadladNaby They can for diving…

This is what we’re dealing with everywhere in government

Van Halen covering "Won’t Get Fooled Again" by The Who inside the 5150 studio. Eddie was just such a badass. This version is simply awesome.

Poor performance today and a shame to lose our unbeaten start to the calendar year so meekly. That said, Farke showed exactly where #LUFC priorities lie with the team he put out - and I'd far rather have a rested team that has a better chance of a result at Watford on Tuesday.
