I sincerely hope that Valve - if you revert - will increase the ban period to 3 months, at least. Ideally also add a counter that let's the user know that if they reverse more than 2 or 3 times in a year, it's a community ban. Obviously 3rd party sites also have to do their part, but it's not an easy task to make all parties happy - else you would already have seen some clever solutions.
