It was a busy morning at the collection centre today, as we hosted 45 members from the University of Leiden Biological Club. They toured the Mammals, Birds, Insects & Marine invertebrate collections, and had some great questions for us! Thanks to the organisers for the new swag!

A rather splendid terrestrial Harpacticoid Copepod adorned with ciliates found among leaf litter here in N.E. Scotland. I've no idea what either species might be. I'll make slides & preserve additional specimens in alcohol. for @NtlMuseumsScot
