"The non-obvious win of docs-as-code is control. The community can change anything: the layout of a page, the shape of the sidebar... and how agents consume the content.
None of it is hidden behind a UI you cannot inspect or modify."

After open-sourcing the terminal, we started asking... what else should we open-source?
Well, now we've open-sourced our docs.
Docs lead @hongyichen wrote about how we migrated from a CMS to a GitHub repo of Markdown with @astrodotbuild. The proof-of-concept took just 3 hours.

Warp's agent now has the open-source /claude-api skill built-in. Just ask what you want to build.
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs
The skill is fully open source and covers Claude SDKs across seven languages plus our CLI. It's also available in CodeRabbit, JetBrains, Resolve AI, and Warp. More on how it works on the blog: claude.com/blog/claude-ap…

We've included direct links to source code throughout. Great resource for interested contributors to understand Warp more deeply!

Now that Warp is open-source, we also want to be more open about how Warp works.
So, @vorporeal wrote an article breaking down every aspect of Warp's core primitive: the block model.
You'll learn how Warp interprets commands, renders character grids, uses sumtrees, and more.

Tried out @warpdotdev after having moved to a different terminal for a while, and wow is it ever fast! They must have shipped some serious perf improvements.
The speed alone is worth using it. Never seems to choke up. Gonna make it my daily driver again.
