5/ TLS configuration TLS isn't just "SSL is on = safe." What I enforce: TLS 1.2 minimum, TLS 1.3 preferred Strong cipher suites only HSTS headers enabled Certificates rotated and monitored Node.js had a Marvin timing attack CVE in 2024 targeting PKCS#1 padding. Weak TLS config = live exploit surface.

A company reached out to me last week for a security consultation. Quick scan across their web properties. What I found stopped me cold. 40% of their sites were misconfigured so badly that their database, SMTP server, and payment gateway were sitting exposed waiting to be exploited. They had no idea. I had to step out for a smoke break(i don't smoke but it was crazy to see lol) anyway a short thread(will not attach screenshot part of the deal that allowed me make this thread was i should disclose nothing)
