Français 8 a voyagé en vacances! Ss worked in partners for their travel project and through authentic resources, researched plane tickets and airbnbs. Then we headed to the aéroport…I mean - green screen au laboratoire de STEAM! ✈️#WeAreChappaqua #BonVoyage

Señor Sphero! Español students first practice coding to move the robot around una villa (chair). They then use a green screen to tour Señor around a pretend classroom. Finally, using iMovie, they describe the robot's adventures using Español. @MurphySrta

6th grade students first use Scratch to model the future effects of rising sea levels on a chosen coastal city. Then they research and construct potential options for protecting those cities. @scratch @BobbyBellMS

Ss created their own four-digit pattern problems on index cards. Two numbers given to discern the pattern, two blanks to fill in. Then Ss tried to rank the cards by difficulty, 1-5, first individually, then by committee. Finally, we discussed a disagreement as a class. Is it a 5?

This week Ss created challenges using only the digits: 1, 2, 5, & 8. Today’s big questions - What is the largest even number we can make? How many numbers can we make with 8 in the ones place? Ss compared the results with an investigation of 5 in the thousands place. Are they =?
