Bad at remembering to post pictures but had to today since it was a special one! First time I’ve faced off against a former team of mine as @PWHL_Boston took on @PWHL__Seattle for the first time.

Dreams come true. So beyond grateful and excited to be a part of the first @PWHL__Seattle home game today.

As a kid playing hockey in Washington back in the day before the NHL or PWHL, this opportunity is extra special since we never used to think we’d have any pro team in our state let alone both men’s and women’s at the highest level.

Growing up playing hockey in WA I had to travel 2 hours to practice 3 times a week and spent every weekend away playing in a Canadian league. It is incredible to see how much hockey has grown in my home. There used to be only 100 girls in the state playing when I grew up!

So beyond lucky to have been able to work a game at Climate Pledge with many friends and family in attendance, most of whom have not ever seen me work a game before. Easily without a doubt the best day of my life today.
