George Egerton referred to her literary project as an attempt to map "the terra incognita of woman, as she knew herself to be", and we're playing around with that idea in the title in an acknowledgedly ungrammatical way.

@Castafi0re @was925 @routledgebooks @isobelsigley @ProfDHayes It is presumably an English-style plural of terra incognita as a fossiled phrase. Perhaps we are no longer to assume that terrae incognitae would be broadly intelligible as a plural?

The biggest congratulations to my mam, Mary Regan, who graduated today. She wasn’t great at the hat tossing to be honest. Mary has put 3 of 4 children through many (many) degrees. It was finally her turn. @ACEUCC @McSweeneyProf made her feel so special. Now, onto her diploma!
