A few bullish takes on @nadoHQ Season 2 - Dynamic point distribution instead of fixed emissions Previously, Nado distributed a fixed 950k points every week. Now the distribution is dynamic - from 300k up to 950k points depending on total trading volume. Examples: ~$500M ADV (average daily volume) → ~415k points $1B ADV → ~530k points I asked @grok what point distribution would've looked like over the past month if this update had already been live: May 11 - 17 Trading volume: $1.5B (ADV ≈ $214M) → ≈349k points May 4 - 10 Trading volume: $1.7B (ADV ≈ $243M) → ≈356k points April 27 - May 3 Trading volume: $1.1B (ADV ≈ $157M) → ≈336k points April 20 - 26 Trading volume: $1.4B (ADV ≈ $200M) → ≈346k points So point distribution would've been reduced by almost 3x. To even reach the 950k max cap now, Nado would probably need around $3B-4B ADV - meaning over $20B weekly trading volume. For context, Nado's ATH weekly volume back in early February was around $5B. That means this update reduces point supply no matter what, because undistributed points will effectively get burned. So all the previous calculations estimating total point supply at around 48M-50M are probably outdated now. Realistically, total supply may shrink closer to 38M-43M points, which should also positively affect point valuation. For example: If the points program continued for another 21 weeks under the old system, an additional ~20M points would've been distributed. With the new update, that future supply is likely cut almost in half. - Trading competitions are finally starting The first trading tournament already comes with a $100k prize pool, which is pretty solid. I'm genuinely happy to see perp DEXs integrating more gamification and competitive mechanics between users. Traders should be rewarded not only with points, but with actual cash incentives too. - Referral system integration A few weeks ago I made a long post explaining why the lack of a referral system in Nado was a problem. The team listened to community feedback and is now integrating referrals in Season 2. When a team actively listens to its community - that's bullish. Referral rewards are expected to be around 10-30% of generated fees in $, while referral points will also continue. This is another bullish catalyst that incentivizes influencers and creators to bring more users and volume onto the platform - which should positively impact platform metrics and ultimately the valuation of the future @inkonchain airdrop.
