Romanians were xenophiles since the neolithic lmao

A new study published in Nature Communications presents genome-wide data from 125 individuals buried in Copper Age cemeteries in the Carpathian Basin, dating between roughly 4800 and 3900 BCE. This was a time when communities in the region were adopting new burial customs, including the use of formal cemeteries, and beginning to work copper on a larger scale. Despite these visible changes in material culture and ritual, the genetic results point to a high degree of continuity with the preceding Neolithic farming populations. There is little indication of major population replacement or large-scale influx from outside groups during this period. What stands out more clearly is the variation between communities. The study compares two large cemeteries belonging to the same archaeological culture and located only about 100 kilometers apart. One, at Tiszapolgár-Basatanya in Hungary, shows low genetic diversity and a high number of close biological relatives buried together, including evidence consistent with first-cousin unions. The data also suggest a patrilocal pattern, where women tended to move to the community of their husbands, pointing to a relatively closed social group organized along patrilineal lines. By contrast, the cemetery at Urziceni-Vamă in Romania shows noticeably higher genetic diversity and far fewer close kin relationships among the buried individuals. There is less evidence of a rigid patrilineal structure, and the community appears to have been more open to integrating people from outside. These differences are notable because both sites belong to the same material culture, with broadly similar pottery, tools, and burial practices. The genetic and kinship data suggest that communities could maintain quite different social organizations — one more inward-looking and kin-focused, the other more diverse and socially fluid — even while participating in the same broader cultural traditions. The paper adds to the view that genetic continuity does not automatically translate into social uniformity, and that local groups could develop different ways of structuring kinship and residence within a relatively short period and small geographic area. @wasd_1444 @EvaTrifoni Yes but 1/Bektashism is a heterodox order of Islam. 2/He wanted to highlight the tolerance and openness of this order. 3/It is an order dominated by Albanians, and several of its members have played an important role in the country. 4/It would be smaller than the Vatican

The fact that Rama proposed an islamic sovereign state in Tirana, which would require a constitutional change and international recognition in the name of tolerance, deserves exile/life in prison. This is far more disturbing than that damn island

@LapisLazAlter No, not at all. They are pre-Indo-European. Therefore, pre-Illyrian (which means pre-Albanian)

As a J2 CHG, it's strange to see North Caucasian lower than the other 'noise' percentages in the bottom. It is not strange to me however as a Hebridean Scottish man to see how high Pictish is. I wasn't lying to you. I am a Pict. A Caledonian. This was an Iron Age G25 run.

I came back to this Iron Age calculator with my official G25 coordinates. I was very much a noob back in October and didn't really know what I was doing lmao More interesting picture being painted here... I think it's cool that I most likely had some Greek ancestors during the Iron Age, but I will always be very Germanic at my core

@VetteNight @circumcisedbull @UbermenschMind Nigga please. All of them were inferior to European powers, hence they were colonized. Oh and not to mention they had lower life expectancy, worse infrastructure, worse hygiene, etc.

@wasd_1444 @circumcisedbull @UbermenschMind There’s no evidence that race is connected to iq, theres alot more white Americans having better education and opportunities than Black Americans. Most Black families haven’t even recovered from the crack epidemic, which destroyed the Black community.

@VetteNight @circumcisedbull @UbermenschMind Yeah bro I’m sure it’s the environmental factors that made them intellectually disabled. If only they were rich and not exploited, their IQ wouldn’t be 60 but it’d be 160!!! Every African would be an Einstein!!

@VetteNight @circumcisedbull @UbermenschMind No one denies that IQ is affected by other factors such as wealth, development, etc. But a large part of it, if not most of it, is genetic. This is why even Blacks in the US who are significantly better off than Africans still have a lower IQ than White Americans
