𝐑𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚🇷🇼 - 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Rwanda's approach to waste management is holistic, integrating community involvement with stringent policy enforcement. The country's ban on non-biodegradable plastic bags and its urban waste collection systems have significantly reduced litter, with initiatives like "Umuganda" where citizens collectively clean their communities. 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 🇿🇦- 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬: South Africa leads with its well-developed recycling sector, particularly in Cape Town and Johannesburg, where recycling rates are significantly higher than the continental average.
