@bluedreamfever see that’s the dream but unfortunately when you gotta travel it adds up QUICK the same hotel I was booking in 2019 for $100 is going for $450 this year 😵💫

@wasteIndbby Well that’s a you issue tbh sucks to live in the sticks or a small town. Those of us who live in a large city spend like 60 bucks a night max. Even if it’s a pop star it’s like 300 max If it’s someone huge like harry styles. Now I’m seeing why yall are spending so much.

@wasteIndbby Oh oops and then there is a daily room fee, parking fee, check in is now 4pm but check out is 9am, the daily breakfast is $25 per person
At the venue water is $9 the shitty nachos and hot dogs are $10 . There are not enough bathrooms, trash is everywhere and it's hot af

@_allthiswildjoy !!!!! when I have to spend a ton on travel there’s not as much motivation to go see a 30 min set at a dive bar 😭 I love them but very few things make me want to go hours

@wasteIndbby @heiko6112 Annnd so many smaller artists don't come to smaller cities or as many states. I love these shows, but they're still costing me travel expenses, lodging, and PTO 😞

@allisticlabubu bonus points is the album is experimental and different from the music you actually like from them and they play nothing but the new stuff

and 1 month before your concert they release a new album so you dont even get to hear the songs you want cos half of them are being replaced by the new album 😍

@wasteIndbby that's only a problem if you are hooked onto mainstream artists. There are so many incredibly talented Indie/Alternative artists out there literally begging for audience for small money and barricades guaranteed

@wasteIndbby A big reason why I've slowed down a lot with going to concerts cause I always have to fly out or drive hours in this economy since no one likes to tour nearby. It has become a pain in the ass.
