Governments don't earn money (through taxation) by doing hard work. They don't have to face any risks associated with bad decision-making, so they can't properly value markets or understand demand-supply mechanisms. They will waste your hard-earned money on big roads that very few people use, airports that carry no passengers, and metros that run empty.

He completed a Masters in Public Policy from Princeton University, with a specialization in Economic and Monetary Policy.He was taught among others by Alan Blinder, a renowned economist and former Vice-Chair of the Fed

@DrBose11 the actors weighing costs change over time (different prez, generals, congresses). pointing to the final sunk outcome and calling it a fallacy misses that. afghanistan was a rolling series of marginal calls, not one big irrational commitment. the truth is much more nuanced.

@wastedsemen Aight even if we assume that they started it on some marginalist plan, it could still end up in scf… one doesn’t negate the other here… like toppling Taliban regime was an objective of Bush’s war on terror but ended up costing a trillion and replaced by the same Taliban regime

So to honor him we started using their surname instead of ours
My father chose to change it coz pathak aren't considered good brahmins so people avoid marrying their kids 😶🌫️
