There is only one Dennis Rodman, and he is heading to Puyallup. Please welcome an NBA Hall of Fame 5x Champion basketball legend who was one of the greatest rebounders and defenders to ever play the game... and a pop culture icon with a larger-than-life personality to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on Sunday, March 29th in Puyallup. Affectionately known as "The Worm," Dennis Rodman dominated the NBA with unmatched tenacity. Drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1986, he helped the "Bad Boys" win back-to-back championships in 1989 and 1990, earning two NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards (1990, 1991), seven consecutive rebounding titles (1992–1998), and spots on the NBA All-Defensive First Team multiple times. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 1995 and teamed up with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to secure three straight titles (1996–1998), including the historic 72-win season. A two-time All-Star and member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, Rodman was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Rodman had a brief pro wrestling career when he joined WCW's nWo in 1997, he teamed with Hulk Hogan for high-profile tag matches. He wrestled Randy Savage in a singles bout and tallied four total matches from 1997-2000. Beyond the court and ring, Rodman's flamboyant style and charisma carried him into acting and media. He starred in action films like Double Team (1997) opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme and Simon Sez (1999), appeared in Cutaway (2000), and had cameos in projects such as B.A.P.S., The Simpsons (voice), 3rd Rock from the Sun, Baywatch, and The Minis. He hosted his own MTV series The Rodman World Tour (1996) and popped up in reality shows, including winning Celebrity Mole. Get out the Rye Bread and Mustard, it is time to REWIND to a Seattle icon and bring the greatest Designated Hitter of all time to Puyallup. Please welcome MLB Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on March 28th. Known affectionately as "Gar" or "Papi," Edgar Martínez is widely regarded as one of the greatest designated hitters in Major League Baseball history and a Seattle icon. He spent his entire 18-year career with the Seattle Mariners from 1987 to 2004. Edgar posted a career .312 batting average, .418 on-base percentage, and .515 slugging percentage over 2,055 games. He amassed 2,247 hits, including a franchise-record 514 doubles, 309 home runs, 1,261 RBI, and 1,283 walks. Edgar earned seven All-Star selections, five Silver Slugger Awards, and two American League batting titles (1992 and 1995). In 1995, he led the AL with a .356 average and 121 runs scored, while topping the majors in doubles (52), OBP (.479), and OPS (1.109), finishing third in MVP voting and powering the Mariners to their first AL West title. His iconic "The Double" in Game 5 of the 1995 ALDS against the Yankees—a clutch two-run hit that sent Seattle to the ALCS—remains one of baseball's most memorable moments, helping secure a new stadium for the franchise. He also led the AL in RBI with 145 in 2000 and won the Outstanding Designated Hitter Award five times (the award now bears his name). In 2019, Edgar was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame with 85.4% of the vote, cementing his legacy as a Mariners icon and one of the purest hitters of his era. Let's make room for one of the most powerful female characters in the Marvel Universe before Doomsday descends upon us in December. Please welcome Famke Janssen to the Washington State Summer Con lineup from June 19th through the 21st in Puyallup. Famke Janssen is a Dutch actress known for her versatile performances across blockbuster franchises, independent films, and acclaimed television series. She began her career as a fashion model before transitioning to acting in the early 1990s. Her breakthrough came with the iconic role of the lethal Bond girl Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995), followed by standout turns in films like Lord of Illusions (1995), Rounders (1998), and House on Haunted Hill (1999). Janssen gained widespread recognition portraying Dr. Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men film series, including X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), and The Wolverine (2013). It ain't no lie, JC Chasez is heading to Rewind Washington. Please welcome JC Chasez to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on March 28th and 29th in Puyallup. JC Chasez is a multi-Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor well known for his central role in the late 1990s and early 2000s pop phenomenon *NSYNC. He began his entertainment career as a performer on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club (1991–1994), where he honed his singing, dancing, and on-camera skills alongside future stars like Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. In 1995, he joined *NSYNC as one of the group's primary vocalists. *NSYNC achieved massive global success, selling tens of millions of albums and becoming one of the best-selling boy bands in music history. Their self-titled debut and follow-up No Strings Attached shattered sales records, with the latter's lead single "Bye Bye Bye" and others like "It's Gonna Be Me," "Tearin' Up My Heart," and "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" dominating charts and MTV. Chasez co-wrote several tracks across their discography, including "Selfish," "The Two of Us," "Up Against the Wall," and "The Game Is Over" on the 2001 album Celebrity, showcasing his growing songwriting talent. "Welcome home, Principal Himbry." Please welcome Lee Waddell to the Washington State Summer Con lineup from June 19th through the 21st. Lee returns to Puyallup to create a unique and special photo opportunity possible for the SCREAM fans at Summer Con... Duo Photo Ops with Arthur Himbry and Ghostface. Lee Waddell has many contributions to the horror genre, most notably as the original Ghostface in Wes Craven’s iconic Scream (1996) and its sequel Scream 2 (1997). Beyond Scream, Waddell’s early exposure to the genre came through working on Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), where he honed his stunt skills under the guidance of mentor Tony Cecere, setting the stage for his later horror roles. We thought it would be a SCREAM to announce that the great Arthur Fonzarelli is headed to Puyallup. Please welcome Henry Winkler to the Washington State Summer Con lineup from June 19th through the 21st. Henry Winkler is an acclaimed actor renowned for his versatile career spanning over five decades. He rose to international fame as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli on the iconic sitcom Happy Days (1974–1984), where his portrayal of the cool, leather-jacketed greaser made him a cultural phenomenon. The role earned him two Golden Globe Awards and three Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Earlier, he appeared in films like The Lords of Flatbush (1974) and built experience through theater and commercials after earning his MFA from Yale School of Drama. Post-Happy Days, Winkler transitioned into character acting with notable film roles including Chuck Lumley in Night Shift (1982), Principal Arthur Himbry in Scream (1996), Coach Klein in The Waterboy (1998), and Click (2006), Here Comes the Boom (2012), The French Dispatch (2021), and others. We couldn't miss the opportunity this year to reunite Laney Boggs with Zack Silas at the show. Rachael Leigh Cook is an actress known for her work across film, television, and voice acting. She began her career as a teenager, making her film debut as Mary Anne Spier in The Baby-Sitters Club (1995) and appearing as Becky Thatcher in Tom and Huck (1995). She gained widespread recognition with her breakout role as the awkward-turned-stunning Laney Boggs in the hit teen romantic comedy She's All That (1999), opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. She followed with leading roles in Josie and the Pussycats (2001) as Josie McCoy, Nancy Drew (2007), and various independent films like Stateside (2004) and 11:14 (2003). Please welcome Jaimie Alexander to the Washington State Summer Con from June 19th through the 21st. Jaimie Alexander achieved widespread fame in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Asgardian warrior Lady Sif, debuting in Thor (2011), reprising the role in Thor: The Dark World (2013), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), and appearing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020) and What If...? (2021). Hello, Newman. We thought today would be a great day to announce our favorite Toy Collector (Toy Story 2), Mailman, Michael Jordan teammate, and DNA thief. Please welcome Wayne Knight to the Washington State Summer Con from June 19th through the 21st in Puyallup. Wayne Knight has built a prolific career spanning television, film, theater, and voice work since the late 1970s. He rose to fame portraying Newman, the scheming, mailman nemesis to Jerry Seinfeld on the iconic sitcom Seinfeld (1992–1998), a role that cemented his place in pop culture. He also played the dim-witted Officer Don Orville on 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996–2001). In film, he became the greedy computer programmer Dennis Nedry in Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park (1993)—earning a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor—and the interrogating detective in the infamous scene opposite Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct (1992). Please welcome Patrick Warburton to the Washington State Summer Con from June 19th through the 21st in Puyallup. Patrick Warburton is an actor and comedian renowned for his distinctive deep voice and deadpan comedic style. He has a huge resume in both live-action and voice acting across television, film, and animation. He gained widespread recognition as David Puddy, Elaine's quirky, aloof boyfriend on the iconic sitcom Seinfeld (1995–1998). His other notable live-action TV roles include the cult favorite The Tick (2001), anchorman Jeb Denton on Less than Perfect, unscrupulous executive Johnny Johnson on NewsRadio, and Jeff Bingham on the long-running CBS comedy Rules of Engagement (2007–2013). He also portrayed Lemony Snicket in Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events. In one of our Thinking Time moments, we looked up and saw those famous blue paw prints which led us to our next iconic, and fan-favorite, guest. Please welcome Steve Burns to the Washington State Summer Con from June 19th through the 21st in Puyallup. Steve Burns is an American actor and television host best known as the original host of the long-running children's preschool television program Blue's Clues from 1996 until 2002, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy. The series was rebooted as Blue's Clues and You, with Burns serving as frequent writer, director, and producer. As a musician, he collaborates with Grammy award winners The Flaming Lips, with whom he released the critically acclaimed album Songs for Dustmites and Foreverywhere, an album for children. Burns also wrote and performs the theme song for Young Sheldon on CBS. He is a frequent host and storyteller for NPR's The Moth. Burns appeared in videos for the 25-year anniversary of Blue's Clues, including a widely watched Twitter video in which he – in character as the host of the show – explained reassuringly that he had never forgotten the viewers after leaving to go to college, and marveling at how much each of them had experienced since then. One week from now, our 2026 Super Anime and Gaming show will be over and the Seahawks could be holding their 2nd Super Bowl trophy. We don't want to compete with the Seahawks on their big day. We will leave that to the Patriots. SUNDAY we are rolling back the show ONE hour. Doors will now open at 9am and the show floor will close at 3pm on Sunday, February 8th. This will give everyone the chance to enjoy the show and still make it home to watch the game with friends and family. But wait, there's more... To celebrate the SUPER day, we have a free t-shirt to commemorate the special occasion this year. The first 1,000 adult attendees through the gate on Sunday will receive a souvenir Anime and Gaming SUPER weekend shirt. (pictured above) Specific Details: The Blue Gate will open at 8am to allow for pre-cueing and shirt distribution. The show floor will open at 9am. The vendors and celebrity guests have been notified and will all be at the show earlier than normal to get the party started on Sunday morning. VIP ticket holders will still get priority entry, but it will not be 30 minutes early on Sunday. Free Shirt Details: One t-shirt will be given for each adult badge presented (VIP, 3-Day, or Sunday). Tomorrow, the Star Wars Universe will get our first look at the long-awaited return of Maul airing on Disney+ this Spring with Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord. We thought it was fitting to drop a little surprise announcement to let you know that Sam Witwer will be with us at the Washington State Summer Con this year. Details, casting, and this new Maul story has been leak-free and very secretive. So tomorrow enjoy the trailer and know that Summer Con will have a number of the unannounced Shadow Lord cast for you this Summer. The Washington State Summer Con will be held on June 19-21 in Puyallup at the Washington State Fair and Events Center. Early Guest Announcements have just started and all admission tickets go on sale February 10th.

We are thrilled to be hosting another multi-platinum recording artist and icon in the 80's. Please welcome Debbie Gibson to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on March 28th and 29th in 2026.
