Thank you, Keiko. A friend of mine showed me that video, so I wanted to share it too. At this time of year, we get to see many beautiful photos of cherry blossoms, but there is something especially lovely about a video that captures them swaying in the wind. Since this is your hometown, I imagine it must feel even more special to you. I live in Hokkaido, so around the end of the month I’m hoping to take lots of photos and videos as well. Please take a look when I share them.

I think one reason Japanese accounts are becoming a bigger topic lately is that automatic translation now makes it much easier for us to read each other’s posts in our own languages. This is not limited to Japanese accounts, but I also get spam follows every day, so I usually just ignore them. When I talk with everyone here, I reply in English. I mainly use ChatGPT to help translate my own thoughts into natural and polite English, so I can communicate respectfully. As for politics, I would describe myself as neutral, with a slight conservative leaning. I am not religious, but I believe it is important to respect people who have faith. I am also not comfortable judging politicians in other countries too quickly, because I know every country has its own background and circumstances. Of course, I do support countries and political leaders who are friendly toward Japan. What I hope for most is交流 that helps us learn from each other, regardless of nationality or gender. I am a married man in my early 40s. I prefer not to share too many personal details publicly in Japan, so I keep that part private. Nice to meet you, MomMom, and thank you again, Richard.
