Waterloo Girls Soccer

First game in the books, 7-0 win over Marshalltown. Goals scored by Anna McNally (2); Adalyn Westendorf (2); Minela Kajtezovic (1), Belle Stoffer(1), and Katelyn Thomas (1). Good team effort all around with 9 out of 16 players getting their first ever varsity action.

It’s been a long time coming but we finally got back out on the field. The weather was perfect and the soccer was fun. Fortunately we have the rest of the week to train so we can be prepared for our first full competitive match next Monday night. wcfcourier.com/sports/high-sc…

The final count is in and the girls killed their fundraiser - surpassing both the initial goal set as well as the number I gave them. Charter buses here we come again. Great job ladies.

Last but not least our final senior is @erankin28! Erin is a returning captain from last and was dedicated to putting hard work in for her team! She won several conference awards and never failed to make the team smile before every game! Thanks for all of your time and effort!

Our 5th senior is @olivia_worthley ! Liv was a captain last year and even after injuries continued to lead our team! Liv put in lots of hard work for our team and won multiple conference awards! Thank you so much for all you’ve done and for bringing our team together!

Highlighting our 4th senior @jalynngomez_ ! Jalynn made a difference all for years she played! She was always ready to work and bring the team together including holding multiple pasta parties! We thank you Jalynn for all your dedication to this team!

Our 3rd senior is @JadynRose_! Jadyn came to practice everyday with a positive attitude and ready to work hard. She was always smiling and and encouraging the team to do their best! Thank you Jaydn for these last years with us!

Day 2 of senior spotlights we honor @stacey62276077! Stacey joined us last year and played a huge role in the mid field! Thank you Stacy for all your time and effort on this team!

We start our senior spotlight off with @brennaAdrienne_ ! She commuted from Dunkerton everyday to practice and we are so grateful she did! She played on both JV and Varisty and made a difference where ever she was!
