#Grade1 students have been exploring their new #outdoorlearning environment and saw that lots of vegetables were ready to #harvest. We practised grouping by tens and found that #numicon was the perfect size for counting cherry tomatoes! @isdedu@OLEISD
G3 Ss were challenged by UK artist, James Brunt, via zoom. The challenge? Create a work of art using one material outside or from everyday life. James reminded the students to “never stop playing, no matter how old you are.” Thank you, @jamesbruntartist#WeAreISD#ISDLionPride
"Enabling learners to put their skills and knowledge to practical use in a situation where the outcome has a tangible relevance to their own lives, results in far greater retention of knowledge. Let's get authentic with measurement" @kayleighgoode08outdoorlearninginternational.com/blog-2/
