🏫 GROUNDBREAKING | JCPS broke ground today on a new early childhood center on property near @watterson_elem. The facility will feature 23 classrooms for up to 460 three- and four-year-old students and is expected to open in Aug. 2026! STORY: bit.ly/EarlyChildhood… #WeAreJCPS

Reminded of my "why" today. Watched 5th grade @JCPSBackpack defenses @watterson_elem during my planning and lunch. Former S flips to a slide during her presentation and I see my face on the screen. S says, "this is my favorite person in the whole world" 🥹💗 Cue waterworks 😭

Congratulations to @theape0428 for being nominated as our Lighthouse of the Week. Mrs. Price is regularly seen not only assisting her students but students in other homerooms as well. She sees the genius everyone.
